Parent App User Manual v.2 Updated

Dear Parents,
This manual shall assist you in surfing and using the functionalities in our Parent App seamlessly.
We are happy to introduce a Mobile App that would facilitate communication between parents and teachers.
You will have the following functionalities in the app.
● Student's Timetable
● Student's Details
● Report Card
● Kindly do not use the messaging facility for inappropriate communication. Always be polite and
never use unparliamentary words.
● A copy of all the messages between parents and teachers is sent to the principal.
● The principal has the authority to block this facility if any user sends inappropriate messages.
Remember that this app is only at the beginning stage. There will be updates periodically. You are welcome to
give your suggestions so that we can improve the app.
Step 1: How to install and log in to the Apeejay Parent App? ................................................................................. 4
This document describes a step-by-step procedure with relevant screenshots for an easy installation and use
of the school mobile application.
Depending on your mobile device, go either to the App Store or Google Play and search for Apeejay Parent
App.
● Select Apeejay Education App in the search results to go to the app page.
● Select Apeejay Parent App in the search results to go to the app page.
If you are a parent with only one child attending the school, follow these steps for your first-time
login:
o Please make sure you have the following information ready before entering the
details, and these fields are mandatory to fill. (Screen 2)
▪ Parent’s Email ID
o An OTP will be sent to the provided mobile number and email Id. Please enter those OTP’s
and click on ‘Activate Account’. (Screen 3)
If you are a parent with more than one child enrolled at the school, you can follow the below-
mentioned steps:
5. Enter the OTP sent on your registered mobile number to verify. Click on “Verify” button.
The screenshots below provide an overview of the features available in the Parent App.
1. Click on ‘Circulars’ in the sidebar menu or you can directly access open circulars page from the home
screen.
2. On the time table page, you will see the class wise time table with the attachment
2. You will be able to view the ‘Syllabus’ page with all the subjects.
3. Clicking on the ‘view attachment’ lets you view the syllabus for that subject.

2. You will see results for ‘Unit Test’ and ‘Test Exam’ with downloadable attachment
1. Click on the ‘Newsroom’ icon under the Follow Us On section in the bottom navigation bar.
3. On the Newsroom page, You can view the latest Apeejay news
4. Our newsroom feature lets you view the news as per your interests like achievements, alumni speeches,
etc.
1. Click on ‘Fees’ in the sidebar menu or you can directly access open circulars page from the home
screen.
2. View past fee with their status, like ‘Partly Paid’, ‘Fully Paid’
3. To pay the due, click on the “PAY NOW' option
4. It will redirect you to the payment gateway option where you will see multiple options to pay the due
fees
5. Click any of the options as per your convenience like PayTM, Razorpay, and HDFC Bank
6. Clicking your desired option takes you to the ‘Proceed Payment’ where you can follow the steps to
pay the due fees.
3. To submit a leave request for your ward, click on 'Apply Leave,' select dates and enter the reason and
click on the “Submit” button
4. Once you click on Submit, your ward’s leave request will be sent to the school. If the leave gets
approved then you will get the notification “Approved” else “Rejected”
5. You can also track your ward’s leave status on the leave listing page.
2. You will be directed to the Attendance page where you can see the attendance details.
3. Attendance statuses will be marked in Green (for present), Red (for absence), and Blue (for leave)
and Orange ( for School Holiday )
4. You will also be able to view the attendance percentage, number of days present, and total number of
working days.

3. Clicking any of the events will allow you to view the event details.
4. Event details page also has an option 'Add to Calendar' which lets you add the event to your calendar
1. Click on the ‘Newsletter’ option under the Follow Us On section in the bottom navigation bar.
2. You will be able to see the newsletter page with all the previous newsletters
2. On the FAQ page, you will see all the frequently asked questions to clear your doubts
3. This feature allows to clear the most common queries of the parents.
4. To view the user manual, click on “User Manual” button on top – right.
1. Click on the ‘Facebook' icon under the Follow Us On section in the bottom navigation bar.
3. Here you can follow the page and be updated with all the Facebook posts about the school.
2. You can view all the student, parent and school details.
