Activity: Warm-Up Exercise Performance
Today was a rollercoaster of emotions and
experiences! Although there was no class suspension,
Ma’am Romely couldn’t meet us earlier in the week,
so she assigned our first performance task: creating
and performing warm-up exercises with our group.
The class was divided into four groups, and I ended up
with a fantastic set of groupmates: Jomar, Aprille,
Christine, Xyrille, Kurt Dane, Lynlene, Bien, and me.
We only managed to practice a day before our
performance. After our Purposive Communication class, 2 pm, Jomar took the initiative to
gather us for practice, and we all agreed. Finding a
space to practice freely was a bit of a challenge, but we
made it work. The practice session was fun and chaotic!
Jomar led us in learning the choreography, and while
we weren’t the most graceful dancers, we had a blast
laughing at ourselves. Jomar couldn’t help but tease us
about our lack of flexibility, which made everything
even funnier. Despite our struggles with the steps, the
positive energy kept us going. To ensure we could
perfect the choreography, Jomar recorded himself
performing the routine and sent the video to our group chat. Later that evening, I practiced in
my room, following every single move as best as I could.
Wednesday arrived, and with it, our big
moment to perform. Jomar had even prepared props
like foil and crepe paper to add a creative touch to our
routine. However, the nerves hit hard when Ma’am
Romely asked the leaders to draw lots to decide the
order of performances. Jomar picked #1—meaning
we would perform first! The nerves were palpable as
we stepped up to perform. Though we gave it our
best, some of us made small mistakes, myself
included. I felt slightly off, perhaps from the anxiety,
but I powered through. Despite the hiccups, we completed the routine, and the experience
brought us closer as a group.
Ma’am Romely graded us individually and as a group, and we were thrilled with the
scores we received. The entire experience taught me the importance of teamwork and how
laughter can ease even the most nerve-wracking moments. While it wasn’t perfect, we poured
our effort and energy into the performance, and that’s something to be proud of. I also
realized how much joy teamwork and shared struggles can bring—it’s not just about the
outcome but the journey we take together.
By the end of the day, we were all smiles, knowing that we had given our best and
learned a lot along the way. No matter how nervous or unprepared you feel, showing up and
doing your best is what truly matters. Sometimes, the best memories come from imperfect
moments shared with great people.

Today was an eventful day as it marked
our second performance task for PATHFIT. I
brought my yoga mat, ready for the activities
ahead, but things didn’t go as smoothly as
planned. When we arrived at the gym, it was
packed with other students also doing their
PATHFIT tasks. With no space left on the main
floor, we decided to head to the highest level of
the gym, where we could find enough room to
carry out our session.
Our performance task consisted of a series of exercises, including the deadbug series,
hip bridge, bird dog series, downward dog, and squat series. At first, I was a bit nervous about
whether I could execute all the movements correctly, but as we started, I found myself
genuinely enjoying the experience. Each exercise
brought a mix of focus and fun, and I couldn’t help but
feel proud of myself for stepping outside my comfort
zone.
One thing that stood out to me was how different
this session felt compared to my past experiences in P.E.
classes. Back then, activities were often limited to sports
or games, but today’s exercises emphasized flexibility,
core strength, and balance. I realized how important it is
to engage in these kinds of workouts—not only for
physical fitness but also for mental well-being.
Another highlight was the camaraderie we shared while doing the exercises. Although
we were all working on our individual movements, the energy in the group kept the
atmosphere lively and motivating. It was encouraging to see everyone trying their best, even
if some of the exercises proved challenging at first.
Reflecting on today’s session, I feel
grateful for the opportunity to experience
something new. The activities not only helped me
improve my physical abilities but also reminded
me of the joy that comes from trying something
unfamiliar. I’m looking forward to future sessions
and the growth they will undoubtedly bring.
By the end of the day, I felt accomplished,
both physically and mentally. The exercises pushed
me to move in ways I hadn’t before, and the
positive energy of the session left me feeling recharged. PATHFIT continues to be a journey
of learning and self-discovery, and I can’t wait to see what’s next.

Today, our PATHFIT class took a different turn as Ma’am Romely wasn’t around. Instead,
she assigned us to perform a series of exercises as a group and record it for submission. The
workout consisted of:
 Deadbug Series – 3 reps on each side
 Hip Bridge – 5 reps
 Bird Dog Series – 3 reps on each side
 Downward Dog – 3 reps
 Squat Series – 3 reps
After our morning class ended at 10:30 a.m., our group—Jomar, Aprille, Christine,
Lynlene, Dane, Xyrille, and I—gathered to work on the task. Since our usual classroom was
occupied by another section, Jomar checked the nearby room to see if it was free. Thankfully,
it was empty, and we quickly set to work. We rearranged the chairs, moving them to the front
of the room, and set up our space at the back. With our yoga mats in place, we started
practicing the movements.
Practice began with a lot of laughter, especially because Jomar kept making exaggerated,
silly poses—at one point even mimicking an exorcism! His humor kept the atmosphere light
and enjoyable, and it helped ease any nervousness about filming. Once we felt confident with
the exercises, we moved on to recording. Surprisingly, the filming process went smoother
than expected. We completed the task quickly, partly because Dane was eager to go home.
This motivated us to stay focused and finish the task efficiently.
After filming, we cleaned up the room, returning the chairs to their original positions
and picking up any trash like water bottles. We made sure to leave the space clean and
orderly. Jomar volunteered to edit the video and assured us he would reach out if he needed
help. That evening, he sent the final edit privately to double-check before sharing it with the
group. His work was incredible—the video was beautifully edited and well-organized,
showcasing not only our effort but also his creativity and skills.
I couldn’t help but admire Jomar’s dedication and talent. He not only led our group
effectively but also ensured the final product was polished and professional. His initiative and
effort inspired me to be more proactive and supportive in group activities. This experience
taught me that even routine tasks can be memorable with the right people. The teamwork,
laughter, and creativity we shared turned this assignment into something special. Strong
teamwork and a good leader can make any task enjoyable and rewarding. A little humor goes
a long way in making the process fun and productive!

Today was a mix of surprises and adjustments.
Our classmates were scheduled to report for our
major subject, but our teacher arrived late, causing
the session to run overtime. After the reporting,
some of our classmates advised us to quietly head to
the gym to avoid upsetting Ma’am Romely again.
We followed their suggestion and made our way to
the gym, where Ma’am Romely informed us about a
short quiz before proceeding to our workout.
As soon as I heard about the quiz, I quickly
reviewed what I could. When the quiz began, I was
focused but a bit concerned for some of my
classmates who arrived late. They were the last
reporters for our major subject today, and I hoped
they would manage to catch up despite the time
constraints.
When the quiz ended, I felt a bit confused by my score because I was confident about
some of my answers. I decided to approach Ma’am Romely and show her my paper for
clarification. She reassured me that she would personally review and double-check all our
quizzes, which gave me peace of mind.
With the quiz behind us, we moved to the
front of the stage for warm-up exercises. The
session’s energy picked up as we transitioned to the
main activities, including the baby crawl, gorilla
walk, and more. These exercises were intense but
fun, pushing us to engage muscles we don’t often
use.
Because we ran out of time during our last
session, today’s workout served as practice for the
activities we’re set to perform on Friday. While it
wasn’t the final performance, practicing together
helped us get more familiar with the movements and
boosted our confidence.
Looking back, today was a reminder of how
important it is to adapt and stay calm when plans
change. Despite the delays and challenges, we made
the most of our time, and I feel more prepared for the upcoming performance. I’m grateful for
Ma’am Romely’s understanding and for the camaraderie of my classmates, which keeps these
sessions enjoyable.

Today was performance day, and I
woke up feeling both excited and nervous.
After practicing the activities on
Wednesday, I thought I was fully prepared,
but as the moment drew closer, a wave of
anxiety hit me. I couldn’t help but feel like
I had forgotten some of the movements,
especially since it had been a couple of
days since we last rehearsed.
Before our group’s turn, we
decided to practice one last time. The quick
review helped calm my nerves a bit and
reminded me of the sequence, but I still felt a lingering sense of unease. Once we got on stage
and started performing, I tried to focus and push through the nervousness. Some exercises,
like the bear crawl and lateral gorilla crawl, were especially challenging for me. I stumbled a
little and felt awkward at times, but I reminded myself to stay calm and just do my best.
To my relief, I found that I could
perform the baby crawl and gorilla crawl more
confidently. Those movements came naturally,
and completing them gave me a small boost of
confidence during the performance. It also
helped that I was with my closest friends in
class. Their presence made the experience less
intimidating and more enjoyable. We
encouraged each other throughout the activity,
and even when someone made a mistake, we
couldn’t help but laugh and keep going.
Despite the nervousness and a few
struggles, I had fun overall. The bond I share
with my groupmates turned what could have
been a nerve-wracking experience into
something memorable. Performing together
made me realize how important it is to have
supportive people around you, especially
during moments when you doubt yourself.
Looking back, I’m proud of what we
accomplished as a group. Even though the
performance wasn’t perfect, it was an honest
reflection of our effort and teamwork. This experience taught me to embrace imperfection
and to trust in the process. At the end of the day, what mattered most wasn’t how flawless our
performance was but the sense of camaraderie and growth we shared as a team.

Today was the final day of our performance task for the first semester, which also
served as our finals for our PATHFIT subject. Originally planned for yesterday, this
performance task had everyone excited and ready to give their best. Before 3 PM, we headed
to the gym to prepare for the activity. Upon arrival, we saw another section finishing their
finals, so while waiting, our group used the time to practice the exercises.
Once the other section was done, Ma’am Romely gathered us to organize the group
performances. Since there were only four groups, she decided that we would draw lots to
determine the order of performance. The tension was palpable as each group leader drew their
lot. Our group ended up being chosen to perform last, which gave us more time to warm up
and observe the other groups. Watching them helped me mentally review the steps and
prepare myself for our turn.
When it was finally time for us to perform, we quickly set up and positioned ourselves
at our designated stations. Despite having practiced earlier, a wave of nervousness hit me as
we began. I worried about forgetting some of the exercises, but I reminded myself to stay
focused. We performed a variety of exercises, including the plank, squat series, hip bridge,
downward dog, bear crawl, lateral gorilla crawl, deadbug series, gorilla crawl, and jumping
and landing. While some of the movements were challenging, I gave my all, and by the end, I
felt a mix of relief and pride.
Afterward, we took a short break to catch our breath and checked our scores. It felt
rewarding to see the results of our efforts. To wrap up the day, we took a group picture with
Ma’am Romely. The photo felt like a perfect way to commemorate the semester and the
bonds we had built in our PATHFIT journey.
Reflecting on the experience, I feel immense gratitude toward Ma’am Romely. Her
patience and encouragement have inspired all of us, and it’s clear why she’s so loved by her
students. She not only made learning enjoyable but also taught us valuable lessons about
discipline, teamwork, and resilience.
This semester in PATHFIT has been a rewarding experience. It pushed me to step out
of my comfort zone and reminded me of the importance of hard work and collaboration. I’m
looking forward to carrying these lessons with me into the future and continuing my fitness
journey.
Thank you, Ma’am Romely!!
