Ans. Meaning: transfer is the moment of employees from one branch to another without
changing the status pay and responsibility.

1) production transfer: production transfer is done when there is excess manpower


in one department or branch the employee get transfer from one branch or
department to another department or branch to avoid layoffs.
2) Replacement transfer: replacement transfer is done for protection of senior
citizen or long serving employees. When the organisation is declining the senior
employees or long serving employees replaced to the juniors or new joining.
3) Versatility transfer: versatility transfer is done for employees to learn new skills
for the development of employees such employees have the knowledge of
different different departments. They also known as all rounder in the
organisation.
4) Penal transfer: Penal transfer is an action taken as an punishment against
employee for an undesirable act done by the employee. Employee will get
transfer in the less important position
5) Shift transfer: shift transfer rotational transfer of employees done in 24 hours or
three ships. Shift transfer its can be fixed or fluctuating transfer. Shift transfer is
also suitable for employees as they can take transfer for their personal reasons
such as marriage, child care, aged parents etc.
6) Remedial transfer: remedial transfer is the transfer done for the employees who
are wrongly placed. For example the employee who is wrongly placed in the
department in which they don't have their interest. So the management change
their place and transfer them to the department where they have interest to
work.

2) Explain the factors affecting human resource planning.

Ans. Meaning: Human Resource Planning means making sure a company has
enough people with the right skills to do the work it needs.

1. Uncertain Future:We can’t predict what will happen in the future, like changes in
business or the economy, so planning for employees becomes hard.

2. Management Attitude:If the managers don’t care about planning for employees, it
won’t work well.
3. Faulty Information System:If the data about employees or jobs is wrong or
outdated, the plans will also be wrong.

4. Expensive:Planning needs money to collect data, hire, and train employees, which
can be costly.

5. Time-Consuming:Planning takes a lot of time because it needs collecting and


studying a lot of information.

6. Shortage of Skilled Labor:If there aren’t enough skilled workers in the market, it’s
hard to find the right people, even with good planning.

3) Explain globalisation in Human resource management

Ans. Meaning: Globalization in Human Resource Management means that


companies now work with people from different countries and cultures. It focuses
on hiring, managing, and working with employees worldwide to achieve company
goals. It also includes dealing with different languages, time zones, laws, and work
styles.
