PART II – READING

A. Read the text about Jane’s school timetable and decide if the sentences are TRUE or FALSE.

Jane starts school at eight o’clock and finishes at half past three. There are eight
lessons in a day.

Monday
She’s got double English language, Maths, Geography and History lessons. She is
interested in English and very happy in English lessons.
Tuesday
Tuesday is really long because there are clubs after school. She has got Art, English language, Maths,
Spanish, double PE and double Science lessons. After school, she goes to the school club. She is in
Robotics Club, and she loves technology.
Wednesday
She has Music, double Science, double Maths and English language. The last two lessons are Drama.
They usually watch movies and talk about them. Some teachers give homework on Wednesdays, so when
she goes home, she does her homework.
Thursday
On Thursdays, she has got double Computer Science, RE, double English language, History and
Geography lessons. There are no extra activities after school.
Friday
The last day of the week, on Fridays, she has double English language, Maths, Geography and
Spanish and Science lessons. She goes home with her best friend Mary. They often play games for an
hour and then do their weekend homework together.
