ADDITION

1. Addition means putting things together.


2. The sign of addition is + (plus).
3. The answer of addition is called sum or total.
4. We should count forward in addition.
5. In addition if we change the order of number the answer remains
The same.
Eg. 3 + 4 = 7
4+3=7
6. When we add zero to any number the answer is the number itself.
Eg. 5 + 0 = 5
7. When we add 1 to a number the answer is the number that comes just after it.
