Setting: Ravenswood Manor stood in the middle of a foggy countryside. It was an old house covered in ivy, with many
spooky stories surrounding it. The nearest village, Ashford, was a small and quiet place where people often talked
about the house in whispers.

Characters:

 Eleanor Whitmore – A brave young woman who comes back to her family home to uncover its secrets.
 Mr. Graves – The serious butler who has worked at Ravenswood Manor for many years.
 Daniel Harper – A curious journalist who wants to learn the truth about the manor.

Rising Action: Eleanor arrives at the manor on a stormy night. She brings her grandmother’s old diary, which
mentions a hidden room under the house. It is said to hold a terrible family secret.

Strange things begin to happen—crying sounds in empty rooms, shadows moving on their own, and candles flickering
without reason. Mr. Graves warns Eleanor to stop searching, but Daniel, eager for a story, convinces her to continue.

One night, Eleanor and Daniel find a hidden door behind a bookshelf in the library. They go down a spiral staircase and

With the past resolved, the strange events at Ravenswood Manor stop. Eleanor feels at peace, knowing she has restored
justice. Daniel writes about the story, but some details remain a secret, known only to those who were in the hidden
room that night.
