About the Role


We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Operations Engineer to join
our team. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge data
pipelines, support platform maintenance, and collaborate with clients and
internal teams. This is a great opportunity to grow your expertise in data
operations while contributing to the improvement of data quality and
platform performance.

Responsibilities
- Ensure the consistency and quality of data within the platform.
- Monitor the system for anomalies or missing data and take corrective
action.
- Assist in the development of tools to verify data accuracy and integrity.
- Contribute to the ingestion, cleaning, and normalization of data from
multiple sources.
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of the company's market
data aggregation platform.
- Participate in continuous improvements of system architecture and
development processes.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science,
Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience with Python or other scripting languages.
- Proficient in SQL.
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
- Exposure to public cloud computing platforms.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral).
- Understanding of basic Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data science packages like Pandas, Numpy, and
Matplotlib.
- Some experience scripting in Linux (e.g., Python, Bash, Zsh, etc.).
- Familiarity with complex data structures and ETL pipelines.
- Exposure to financial data platforms like Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or
Factset.
- Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Spark).
- Interest in learning about DevOps and quantitative analysis concepts.
