Society for Emergency Radiology
Invitation
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
It is our pleasure to invite you to the 11th Annual Conference of the Society for Emergency
Radiology, SERCON 2024 which will be held on 3rd and 4th August, 2024. The conference
will be an update on current knowledge and future advancements in the field of
emergency radiology. There will also be interesting preconference workshops with
hands-on training on 2nd August, 2024.
Emergency Radiology is the subspeciality of radiology which deals with patients of acute
illness and trauma. The meeting highlights will include didactic lectures by national and
international experts, a plenary session by international emergency radiology society
experts, panel discussions and an oration by an eminent radiologist. Preconference
workshops on basic life support, on reporting templates for trauma radiology and on
image-guided hands-on training using simulators for angiography, biopsies and
drainages will be held. There will be sessions for proffered papers and competitive e-
posters for the residents. In addition, there will be several quizzes for the delegates based
on the content of the lectures delivered in the scientific sessions. Attractive prizes will be
given to the winners of the presentations and the quizzes.
Chandigarh, the City Beautiful, has several places of tourist interest like the Rock Garden,
the Capitol Complex, the Rose Garden and the Sukhna Lake. Other cities of tourist interest
like Kasauli, Shimla and Amritsar are not very far from Chandigarh. Chandigarh is well
connected by road, rail and/or air transport to other prominent cities of the country.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we look forward to hosting you for this academic
feast. Registration for the workshops is limited and we suggest you to register early for
this meeting.
