Prayer Guide for BLW University of Bamenda


A. PRAYING FOR OUR DEAR NATION CAMEROON
i. Firstly, we are praying for all those in our country, especially
Christians whom due to the twisted nature of the system of
this world powered by the devil and misunderstandings, they
have been unjustly treated and are suffering cruel
punishments for crimes they did not commit or know nothing
about. We declare that by the power of the Holy Ghost help
is coming to them and their case files are coming for favour
and the missing link in every one of such cases are been
found and everyone of such persons released in the name
Jesus. If you know anyone who is in such situation right now
you may go ahead and call their names.
 Luke 22:53;
ii. We are praying for all the leaders of our great nation
Cameroon, right now we command the devil to come out of
their minds and lose his grip over them entire. Furthermore,
we rebuke foolishness, selfish, greed and wickedness from
them. We declare that the love, fear and the wisdom of God
will begin to fill their hearts so strong and constraining them
to make only such decisions, policies or choices that will lead
to the peace, stability, substance and progress of our nation
in every sector and at every level. We declare that the
gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is rapidly penetrating and
prevailing in our government.
 1 Timothy 2:1-4
iii. We are praying for all the down trodden, oppressed,
depressed, lost, confused, sick, hopeless, broken and
helpless people in our country, most especially those from
the English speaking part of our nation who have lost
fathers, mothers, guardians, brothers, sisters, wives,
husbands, children or some loved one of some kind and
homes to the cruelty of the so-called “Anglophone crisis” and
have now found themselves in such unexpectedly sad and
inhumane circumstances far away from the places they used
to call home, for most of such people all that is left of their
homes are memories! And many have found it real hard to
start all over again with building their lives. But as we pray
now to the only One Who knows all, sees all and hears all,
we declare that real and durable help is coming to everyone
of such persons by the power of the Holy Ghost and we
declare that this gospel that can make anything out of
anyone or even nothing is reaching them where ever they
are and changing their lives unto the praise, glory and
honour of our God.

B. LET’S PRAY FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE SUPER
SUNDAY
i. Let us pray for the current organization of the super sunday.
Pray that all that is required for excellent delivery in the
course of the planning and organization for the program is
made available by the power of the Holy Ghost. Declare that
the program is noised across every PART OF bambili, and it
becomes a major reference point for all.
 Matthew 5:14-16.
ii. Let us now pray for the ongoing publicity measures. Pray
and declare that the breath of God is upon every publicity
medium employed and each will bring about an increased
awareness of this program and cause many to attend.
Declare that our strategies will produce maximum results
such that each senior cell catchment will record maximum
participation with our target attendance exceeded.
 Luke 6:17; 1 John 5:4
iii. Let us go ahead and declare that anything we need to make
this program a huge success is made available. Declare that
we are sufficient and we lark no good thing in making this
super Sunday a remarkable one
 2 Corinthians 9:8; Acts 4:34-35.
C. Praying for our Brethren
i. Pray for all our brethren that as a result of the word they
have heard, they continue fervently in the faith, not yielding
to any distractions but continually set their gaze on the
instructions of Jesus; passionately winning souls into the
kingdom, making preparations for the house of God,
guarding their hearts with all diligence, preaching the gospel
in and out of season and preparing to meet God.
 1Tim1:8,1Sam7:3, Amos4:12
ii. Pray for our brethren facing whatsoever challenge that they
neither give up nor give in to these challenges. Declare that
the faith remains prevalent and they emerge with Sprit
lifting testimonies.
 Act 20:24, 2Cor 4:17-18
iii. Pray and declare that our brethren are at all times yielded to
the word and the Spirit. Declare that the word of God is a
constant light to them and the voice of the Spirit gives an all-
time direction to them.
 Ps 119:105, Jn10:14
D.Praying for our Leaders
i. Declare that every Cell leader an departmental heads across
our subgroup remains strong, focused, continually being
filled with the Spirit, fulfilling all that which has been
committed to our trust.
 Eph 5:18, Phill 1:9-11
ii. Pray that the hearts of all our leaders are kneed together in
love, they walk in oness of heart, unity of purpose and we
strive accordingly together to achieve every set target that
the Lord has committed to us.
 Amos 3:3, Jude1:3
iii. Pray for the saturation of God’s love in the hearts of all our
leaders: declare that hardheartedness is not of anyone of
them, the love of God continuously propels them unto God
and greater works of faith and righteousness. Further
declare that they serve and grow their Cells, Senior Cells and
departments in love and thanksgiving and with
understanding of the ministry through Holy Spirit.
 Ez 11:19, Prov2;5
iv. Pray that they inculcate and sustain attitudes and spiritual
practices of continually being spiritually alert, adding value
to their lives, the church and all that concerns them.
 Dan 6;10, 1Tim4;8-9 (MSG Bible)

 Let’s Pray for Our Dear Man of God: Let’s now pray for our
lovely father, the Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome and we declare
more grace and wisdom is multiplied unto him by the Holy
Ghost, the Spirit of Grace and Wisdom. We declare further
that pastor will continue to proclaim the truth of God’s Word
to the entire world with so much boldness and we declare
more utterance is granted him by the Spirit. We declare also
that through pastor’s teaching the church is coming to the
unity of the faith and whole body of Christ is growing
stronger and stronger unto a perfect church that is ready for
the imminent return of our Master, Jesus. We pray also that
pastor, his family members, his loved ones and all that is
connected to him is protected from wicked and unreasonable
men by the Spirit of God and pastor will live to fulfill his God
given assignment without reproach in Jesus’ Name.
 Let’s now pray for our esteemed Pastor: We declare that he
is strengthened even more for the work that God has called
him to do in our chapter and the work is growing. We declare
further that he will continue to carry out his ministry without
any reproach and more grace is channeled towards him. We
declare that in this special season of Wisdom, the excellent
wisdom of God is increasing in life, wisdom for all matters
patterning unto life and godliness.
 Let’s pray for our Family Members and Loved Ones: Now is
the time to declare in the lives of your family members and
loved ones what you want to see; salvation for the unsaved,
healing for the sick, prosperity, blessings, favor, promotions,
protection etc.
 Let’s pray for ourselves: Declare with faith in your heart
what you want to see, call it forth, and command it to come
to you by the power of the Holy Ghost and in the Name of
