Sage 200 Evolution FTP

Download Procedures:
Version Executable Fixes

Outline:

This article discusses accessing and downloading the Sage 200 Evolution version executable fixes from the Sage FTP
website.

PHASE 1: DOWNLOADING OF WINSCP

1. Go to: https://winscp.net/eng/download.php

2. On the landing page, click on the button below to download WINSCP (note that the specific version may be
different as displayed below as these versions are constantly updated).

3. When the download has been completed, find and open the relevant version WinSCP Setup.exe installation file.

PHASE 2: INSTALLATION OF WINSCP

1. Double-click on the above installation file to start the installation procedure and follow the installation wizard
as can be seen below.

2. Click the Run button below.

3. Click the Accept button below.

4. Select the Typical installation option and then click the Next button below.

5. Select the preferred User interface style option (we recommend the Commander option) and click Next below.

6. Click the Install button below to start the installation.

7. When successfully installed, the following screen should display. Click the Finish button below.

PHASE 3: SETUP OF WINSCP

1. When installed, you should find the new WinSCP install on the Start menu that can now be opened. From here you
can also create a desktop shortcut for future use.

2. When opened, if the Login screen does not open automatically, click the New Session button below.

3. Set up a new FTP connection site profile as below.

• File Protocol: FTP (File Transfer Protocol)
• Encryption: TLS/SSL Explicit encryption
• Host Name of the site: ftp.sagesouthafrica.co.za
• Port Number: 21
• User name: evolutionint
• Password: 1#Evoint*0
• Anonymous Logon option: Unselected

4. When done click on the Save button above.

5. Select the options below and click the OK button.

6. With the selection on the newly created profile, click on the Login button.

7. The first time the FTP site is opened, you may be prompted to enter the above password again and click OK.

PHASE 4: DOWNLOADING SAGE 200 EVOLUTION EXECUTABLES

When opened, notice the default landing page below with the <root> folder selected on the top.

Do the following from this point forward:

1. Find and open the Latest_Versions_&_Updates folder below.

2. Open the DateFixes folder.

3. Double-click on the relevant Evolution version folder below.

4. Right-click on the Evolution.exe file and go to Download… | Download.

5. Browse the location where the install should be downloaded on your PC and click OK below to start the download.

6. Wait until the download has been completed.
