Step 1: Create a Cisco NetAcad Account

1. Visit the Cisco NetAcad Website: Go to Cisco Networking Academy.

2. Click on "Sign Up":

o On the homepage, click the "Sign Up" or "Join Now" button.

3. Fill Out the Registration Form:

o Enter your first name, last name, and a valid email address.

Use ccc email address

o Create a username and password.

o Agree to the terms and conditions.

4. Verify Your Email:

o Check your email inbox for a verification link from Cisco NetAcad.

o Click the link to confirm your account.

5. Enroll in a Course:

o On search bar, type packet tracer then…

o To activate your account fully, enroll in this two course of Cisco's Exploring Network with
Cisco Packet Tracer and Getting Started with Cisco Packet Tracer). This step is important
to access Packet Tracer. (Before you can use the account it must be activated)

Select one then click this


Then do it on another course.
Step 2: Download Cisco Packet Tracer

1. Login to NetAcad:

o Use your newly created credentials to log in at netacad.com.

2. Navigate to "Resources" > "Download Packet Tracer":

o Download the latest version of Cisco Packet Tracer for your operating system (Windows,
macOS, Linux).

3. Install the Software:

o Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Step 3: Log In to Cisco Packet Tracer

1. Open Packet Tracer:

o Launch the Cisco Packet Tracer application.

2. Log In Using NetAcad Credentials:

o Use the email/username and password you created on Cisco NetAcad to log in.

3. Activate Packet Tracer:

o If prompted, confirm your account and complete any additional setup steps.

Click this and Log in using your CCC


Email Address.

Troubleshooting Tips

• Forgot Password: Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to reset it.

• No Access to Courses: Ensure you’ve enrolled in a course on NetAcad to activate Packet Tracer.

• Login Issues: Check your internet connection or try logging in via the NetAcad website to confirm
your credentials are correct.
