About Us
Vidyalankar School of Information Technology (VSIT) is a
renowned institution, renowned for offering a comprehensive
range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in
Information Technology, Commerce, Management, and Mass
Media. Affiliated with the University of Mumbai and approved by
the Government of Maharashtra, VSIT has earned a reputation for
academic excellence and professional development.

General Rules
Participation will only be allowed with a valid college ID card.
DESCRIPTION:
A Squid Game-themed event featuring an intense
Valorant tournament. Teams will face off in tactical,
high-stakes matches where strategy, precision, and
teamwork are essential. Inspired by the iconic series,
players will battle for victory in a thrilling competition.
Only the most skilled will emerge as champions.
RULES:
Each team must consist of 5 active players and may
have 1 substitute. Substitutions are allowed only
between matches, not during a match.
Players must use their own Valorant accounts.
Smurfing or account sharing is strictly prohibited.
Maps will be decided through a veto system. All
matches will follow standard Valorant competitive
mode rules.
Rules:
Players must maintain respectful communication.
Any form of abusive language, toxicity, or harassment
will lead to disqualification.
If a player disconnects during a match, the team may
request one restart per match. Restart requests are
only valid if made within the first 3 rounds.
Use of third-party software, macros, or cheats will
result in immediate disqualification. All players must
install anti-cheat software as directed by organizers.
Teams must report 15 minutes before their
scheduled match time. Failure to join the lobby
within 10 minutes of the scheduled time will result in
a walkover.
In case of disputes, the decision of the tournament
referees will be final and binding.
The participants need to bring their own laptop,
keyboard and mouse with the recommended
specifications and the fps will be locked at same level
by us for better experience for the finals.

MASKED CODERS
DESCRIPTION:
This is a Coding Competition where participants write
code without seeing the screen, relying solely on their
keyboard skills. The competition consists of two rounds,
and participants can choose their preferred
programming language.
RULES:
Round 1: 20 minutes, Round 2: 40 minutes. Exceeding
time results in a score of 0.
Professional conduct is required; no collaboration with
others.
Late submissions are not accepted.
Scoring is based on accuracy, efficiency, and relevance
(Round 1: 50-20 points, Round 2: 100-60 points).
Work must be clear, well-organized, and meet the event
guidelines.

DEBUG OR DIE
DESCRIPTION:
"Debug or Die" is an exciting and interactive bug
detection competition designed to enhance problem-
solving skills. It focuses on website and web application
performance, addressing key aspects like user
experience (UX), functionality, and overall efficiency.
RULES:
One machine/desktop allocated per individual/team.

METASQUID HACKATHON
DESCRIPTION:
The Hackathon is a 7-hour coding challenge where
participants collaborate in teams to develop innovative
solutions, showcasing their skills and creativity. Projects
will be judged on creativity, technical implementation,
and feasibility.
RULES:
Teams bring your own laptops with the necessary tools,
Wi-Fi will be provided.
Problem statement will be given a week prior.
Hackathon structure:
Round 1: Mentoring - Teams will present their
project and received Feedback from domain expert
Round 2: Challenge Solving – A new challenge will
be given, and teams will have 5 hours to work on it.
Round 3: Final Presentation and Judging – Teams
present their solution to judges for evaluation.

HUNT FOR THE JACKPOT
DESCRIPTION:
Embark on an exhilarating treasure hunt to uncover
hidden treasures! Decode clues, solve mind-bending
puzzles, and race against time in this thrilling quest for
the ultimate jackpot. Team up, strategize, and navigate
through challenges in the hunt for victory.
RULES:
Each team must consist of 4 participants.
Teams must follow the clues in the correct order;
skipping or altering clues is strictly prohibited.
The event must be completed within the allotted
time; late submissions will score 0.
Only team members can collaborate; external help or
interference is prohibited.

Logic War is a fast-paced, minute-to-minute competition
testing logical reasoning, problem-solving, and quick
thinking. Participants face progressively harder challenges,
racing against time to outsmart their opponents.
RULES:
Participants must complete each round within the
given time limit. Exceeding the time will affect your
score.
Only use the materials provided by organizers; external
tools or resources are prohibited.
The event consists of four rounds, each progressively
testing logical reasoning, problem-solving, and quick
thinking.
Tampering with or altering any provided clues or
materials will result in penalties.

PIXEL DALGONA
CHALLENGE
DESCRIPTION:
Put your UI/UX skills to the test in this high-stakes
design challenge! Replicate a webpage with pixel-
perfect precision before time runs out. Only the most
creative and detail-oriented designers will survive.
RULES:
Replicate the given webpage as accurately as
possible within the time limit.
Avoid using pre-made templates or AI-generated
designs.
Use only approved design tools like Figma, Adobe
XD, or similar software.
Judging Criteria: Accuracy, Creativity, and UI/UX
Best Practices.
Submit on time to ensure your work is considered for
evaluation.

in an intense battle royale format.

This competitive coding challenge tests programming
skills, problem-solving, and precision through timed,
multi-stage rounds. Covering Python, Java, C++, C, and
JavaScript, it emphasizes logic, memory, and coding
concepts, with strict rules and eliminations.
RULES:
Each participant gets a personal desktop; no
teamwork.
Exceeding the time limit may lead to disqualification.
Plagiarism or external help results in instant
disqualification.
Poor performance may lead to elimination in certain
rounds.
Use Python, Java, C++, C, or JavaScript; the finale
allows any language.

THE FINAL TRACKDOWN
DESCRIPTION:
This is a track racing event. Participants will receive
components to assemble a line-following robot on the
spot. Using pre-written code developed beforehand, they
must program the bot for the race. The final score is based
on the total time taken for assembly and track completion.
RULES:
All bot components will be provided at the event; no
external parts are allowed.
Participants must pre-write and upload the arduino
code after assembly.
Manual intervention is not permitted during the race.
The total time for assembly and the race will be
recorded, and the participant with the shortest time
wins.
Damaging components or the track will result in
disqualification.

RULES:
Each participant will have a designated time limit of 3-5
minutes for their performance, depending on the round.
All material presented must be original and family-
friendly, avoiding any offensive or discriminatory
content.
While creativity is welcomed, performers are
encouraged to incorporate tech-related humor to
enhance their performance and earn bonus points.
Participants should also ensure they show respect to
both the audience and fellow performers throughout
the event.
