WINTER HOLIDAYS HOMEWORK

Dear Students,

As we approach the winter holidays, your teachers have designed the holiday homework to help
you stay engaged and continue your learning during the break. Please read the following
instructions carefully:

1. Complete the assignments in the given subjects below. These assignments are
essential for reinforcing the concepts we’ve covered so far.
2. Each task is important, so ensure that you dedicate enough time to complete them
properly.
3. All homework must be submitted from 16 January to 20 January. Please note that
no submissions will be done after 20 January.
4. Ensure your work is neat, legible and well-organized.
5. You are encouraged to research or refer to additional resources if necessary.
6. Try to read some good books and share with your class teacher after you come
back.
7. Take time to relax and enjoy your holidays, but remember to balance your rest
with study. Your education is important, and completing these tasks will ensure
you're well-prepared for the upcoming term.
8. Kindly note Holiday Homework will be graded and is a part of internal
assessment for final term. Non-submission of the same will be marked as
zero.

English 1. Prepare a role play based on Lesson-10 “Something from Nothing” to
perform the same after the holidays.
2. Read L- 4 to 8 of Heidi for a quiz that will be conducted after Winter
vacation.

Hindi छात्र पाठ - 'पौध ों का जीवन' से सोंबोंधधत A4 साइज शीट पर पौधे का धित्र बनाएों ँगे तथा पौधे पर पत्ते और
फूल धिपकाकर उसके सभी भाग ों के नाम ध ोंदी में धलखेंगे।
EVS Make a model of anyone means of transport or means of communication using
waste materials and learn few lines about it to present in the class.
French Mon Zoo Imaginaire” (My Imaginary Zoo)
Create a poster of a zoo with different animals, labeling each animal in French
(e.g., un lion, un éléphant).
Math "Time Travelers"
Create a timeline of your daily routine on A3 size sheet. Add clocks to show the
corresponding time for each activity/event. Decorate it with the pictures relevant
to the activities /events of the day.
Refer the given image.

Japanese Make a poster of “12 Japanese Zodiac animals” on an A3 size sheet and write the
names of the animals in Hiragana script.
