PERFORMANCE STANDARDS: The learner is able to formulate and find solutions involving
circles and other related terms in different disciplines through appropriate and accurate
representations.
I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of 45 minutes lesson, the learners are expected to:

Checking of Attendance
“Class beadle, who are the absentees today?” (The class beadle will tell the teacher who
are the absentees for the day.)
Recall

B. Motivation
“Class, before we proceed with our agenda

"Ma'am, I think the angle is smaller than the

"Great observations, everyone! So, we've
looked at this Ferris wheel and you’ve
noticed how we can draw angles and arcs by
connecting points on the circle.”
C. Lesson Proper
“Okay, today, based from your observations, "Ma'am, I think we’ll be learning about

Any idea?”
"Ma'am, are we going to learn about
inscribed angles?"
“Okay, very good observation.”

IV. Application
Group Activity: "Connect the Points: Inscribed Angles in Real Life"
Procedure:
- The class will be divided into four groups.
- Each group will received a printed picture showing real-life examples of circles.
- Each group will choose three points on the edge of the circle that they can connect to be
able to form an inscribed angle.
- With their chosen points, they will identify the theorem that can be applied in the
constructed inscribed angles.
- Choose a representative to present your works.
- Each group will be graded using a rubric.
Group 1 (Gryffindor):
A DART
Group 2 (Hufflepuff)
CIRCULAR GARDEN
Group 3 (Ravenclaw)
CIRCULAR POND
Group 4 (Slytherin)
