System Requirements
Please make sure your system meets the requirements below.

Install Instructions
Please follow the instructions below to install Black Box Virtual
1. Download installation file from our crew site Utilities, Downloads, Black Box Virtual.
2. Run MSI installation program and accept the license agreement. Then click Install.
Installation will complete. Then click Finish.

Start Black Box Virtual
We recommend creating a short cut on your desktop to run Black Box Virtual and optionally pin
it to the task bar.
1. After installation you can find Black Box Virtual by selecting the Windows Start button.
2. Enter your crew username and password. Required First time or after update. Password
is not required every flight.

Select Flight – Schedules
You can skip this step if you already have a bid or flights available. You will find flights using the
Flights left navigation.
2. Put in your desired filters like airline, airplane type, departure, arrival. A list of available
flights will be shown based on your filters.
3. Select the flight you would like to fly and click Book Flight.

Select Flight - Flights
You flight should now be in the list of flights to fly.
5. Notes are not editable. A comment box will be available when you submit your PIREP.

Start Flight
You can now start your flight.

Finish and Submit Flight
When you arrive at the gate it is time to end your flight logging and submit.
1. Click Finish
3. ACARS flight logging is now complete. Click Refresh and your completed flight will
disappear from the list.

Displays upcoming Fly Delta Virtual events.
Maps
Displays your location on the map during flight.

Settings and Updates
Change default settings
2. Make changes to TOD Buffer Miles, Fuel Units, Time zone, Sounds (Fly Delta Virtual),
Play Cabin Announcements, Co-Pilot Callouts, Ground Proximity Callouts.
3. Click Save.
4. Click Updates, then Check Updates to check for updates. Follow instructions if an
update is available.
