Introduction
Road safety is very important for everyone. Roads are used every day by cars, buses,
bicycles, and people walking. If we do not follow road safety rules, accidents can happen. To
keep ourselves and others safe, we must be careful and follow the rules.

Why Road Safety is Important?


Road safety helps to prevent accidents and saves lives. If we follow traffic rules, wear seat
belts, and be careful while walking or driving, we can make sure everyone reaches their
destination safely.

Important Road Safety Rules


1. Always walk on the footpath and use the zebra crossing to cross the road.

2. Look both ways before crossing the road to make sure no vehicle is coming.

3. Follow traffic signals: Stop at red, get ready at yellow, and go at green.
