Multi-Level Record Mock Test 1

Part 1.1 Time: 30 seconds each No preparation

1. Where do you live?

- I live in a small town by the water. There is a lot of peace and quiet here, and the
view is very nice. The beach is only a short walk away, and I like to watch the sun go
down there. It's a great place to live because I love the fresh air and the nice people
who live there. With its cobblestone streets and cute shops, the town has a cute, old-
fashioned feel. Even though it's not very big, there are lots of events and activities
that bring people together.

2. Can you describe your family?

- I have a family of five people. Both of my parents are teachers, and I have a
brother and a sister who are younger than me. We love spending time with each other
and are very close. Holidays are when our whole family gets together. Together, we
like to watch films, play board games and go on trips. Everyone in our family helps
each other out, and even though we're all busy, we always try to make time for each
other. My parents taught us a lot of strong morals, and we often have deep
conversations about many things.

3. What are your hobbies?

- In my spare time, I love to paint and draw. I enjoy it a lot and it helps me be
creative. I also like to stay active and see wildlife by hiking on the weekends. I also
enjoy reading books, especially mystery and fantasy books, which are a nice break
from real life. I sometimes mix my love of art and nature by drawing views of the
outdoors while I'm hiking. I'm also a part of a neighbourhood art group where people
show off their work and get ideas from each other.

Part 1.2 Time: 30 seconds each No preparation

1. These pictures make me think of how different life is in the city and the country. In
the first picture, I see a busy, modern city with tall, impressive buildings that stretches
along a lovely coastline. The beach and water are right there, which must be great for
the people who live there. The second shot shows a peaceful and beautiful scene in
the country. A colourful train winds through lush green hills, and I can see a few small
houses tucked into the landscape. It really shows how peaceful and beautiful life is in
the country.

2. Living in the city and living in the country are very different from what I've seen.
There is always a lot of energy and excitement in the city. Everything I need is close
at hand, including stores, bars, and entertainment. But sometimes the noise and
people can be too much to handle. Life moves much more slowly in the country. I've
liked the open places, fresh air, and sense of community in rural areas when I've
been there. But I can see how it could feel lonely at times, and you'd have to plan
ahead more for basic needs since shops and services aren't as close by.

3. I like living in the city better than the country. I love how city life offers a wide range
of cultures, job chances, and constant stimulation. I love going to culture events,
trying new restaurants, and meeting people from all walks of life. Still, I can see why
living in the country might be appealing. Being in nature always makes me feel better
and more grounded. In a perfect world, I'd live in the city and be able to easily get to
places in the country on the weekends and holidays.

Part 2. Time: 2 minutes 1 minute preparation

1. Tell me about a memorable trip you have taken.

2. How did this trip change your perspective on travel or life in general?
3. What are the most important things to consider when planning a trip?

Going to Japan two years ago was one of the best trips I've ever taken. I had always
been interested in Japanese society, and going there was even better than I thought it
would be. Tokyo, where our trip began, is a city where modern buildings and old
temples fit together perfectly. Both the busy streets of Shibuya and the peace and
quiet of the Meiji Shrine mesmerised me. When we got to Kyoto from Tokyo, it was
like going back in time.

I will always remember how peaceful and beautiful Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) and
the Fushimi Inari Shrine with its thousands of torii gates were. I also got to see a
traditional Japanese tea ceremony, which was a beautiful example of Japanese
culture and kindness. Not only did this trip show me beautiful sights, but it also made
me value Japanese customs and the warmth of its people even more.

This trip to Japan changed the way I think about life and travel in a big way. It taught
me how important it is to really blend into other cultures. I used to travel with a plan in
mind, eager to see as many sights as possible in a short amount of time. I learned to
slow down and enjoy the little things in Japan, like the peace and quiet of a Zen
garden, the delicate flavours of a traditional kaiseki meal, and the skilled work in a
clothing shop. I now focus more on quality events than quantity when I travel because
of this change in how I think. I will also always remember how kind and respectful
people were to me in Japan. Harmony, respect, and careful attention to detail are
very important to the Japanese, and I want to use these values in my everyday life.

Several important things must be taken into account when planning a trip to make
sure it goes smoothly and is fun. It's important to do a lot of study before you go.
Knowing about the culture, traditions, and basic language of the place you're going
can make your trip more enjoyable and help you avoid any problems that might arise.
Also, it's important to make a schedule that includes both must-see sights and free
time for exploring and relaxing. Being flexible is important because having too strict of
plans can be stressful and keep you from enjoying your surroundings.

Part 3. Time: 2 minutes 1 minute Preparation

Artificial intelligence, or AI, is an area that is growing quickly and could have a big
effect on the world. I'd like to talk about the pros and cons of this revolutionary
technology.

On the one hand, AI is a great way to make things more efficient and productive. AI
can free up our time and resources for more creative projects by taking over jobs that
humans currently do over and over again. Imagine a world where AI assistants do
boring office work for us, freeing us up to work on new ideas and fixing problems.
There could be big steps forward in many areas because of this.

In addition, AI has the ability to completely change many fields. Think about
diagnostic tools driven by AI that can look at medical data to give each person a
personalised health care plan, or adaptive learning platforms that can change their
lessons to fit the needs of each student. It is truly amazing how AI has the potential to
open up a world of possibilities in many areas, from healthcare and education to
scientific study and factory automation.
But the rise of AI also brings problems that need to be carefully thought through. One
big worry is the chance of losing someone's job. With AI getting smarter, it might be
able to do things that humans currently do, which would create jobs and mess up the
economy. This means that steps need to be taken to retrain and give the workers the
skills they need to adapt to the new environment.

In the end, artificial intelligence paints a complicated picture. It has a huge amount of
promise to make things more efficient, lead to new ideas, and move society forward,
but it also causes people to lose their jobs and makes income inequality worse.
Harnessing AI's power in a smart way is important to make sure that its benefits
reach everyone.

Multi-Level Record Mock Test 2

Part 1.1 Time: 30 seconds each No preparation

1. What is your favorite food?

- Sushi is my favourite food. I love how the flavours go together and how fresh the
food is, especially the raw fish. There are many kinds of sushi rolls that I like, and I
could eat them all day if I could. In addition to being tasty, it's also beautifully
arranged, which makes eating even more fun. When I go to a new place, I always
make sure to go to a sushi restaurant and try their speciality. It's taken me a while to
learn to respect the skill and tradition that go into making sushi.

2. Do you have any pets?

- Yes, Max is the name of my dog. He plays a lot and is a golden retriever. He's
always glad to see me when I get home from a walk. For three years, Max has been a
part of our family. He brings so much happiness and energy into our home. He's
always excited to learn new things and loves to play catch. Taking care of Max has
taught me a lot about being responsible and how to love someone no matter what.

3. What do you like to do on the weekends?

- I like to take it easy on the weekends. After a busy week, I like to read books or
watch films to relax. I go for bike rides in the park or coffee dates with friends from
time to time. Whenever I have some free time, I also like trying out new recipes in the
kitchen. Also, the weekends give me a chance to finish up any hobbies or personal
projects I forgot about during the week. Making things happen and giving myself time
to relax are two things I try to do in equal amounts.
@nurilla_cefr @MultiLevelRecord

Part 1.2 Time: 30 seconds each No preparation

1. I can see that people are working out in these pictures in a variety of ways. A
woman is playing tennis in the first picture. The court she is about to hit the ball on
looks like a professional one. She looks focused and fit. In the second picture,
someone is doing something that looks like yoga or stretching. They are in a beautiful
nature area by a lake or river, which makes me want to go for a run outside.

2. From what I've seen, playing sports regularly has a lot of benefits. I feel like my
health is getting better when I work out. I have more energy, sleep better, and stay at
a healthy weight. Besides that, though, I really believe that sports are great for my
mental health. It helps reduce stress and improve your mood. I've also learned
important life skills from sports, such as how to handle winning and losing with ease.

3. Third, people in my country really love sports. Football, also called soccer, is by far
the most popular sport. People play it in parks, watch games in pubs, and wear their
team colours with pride. In the past few years, basketball has also gained a lot of
fans. Because we live near the coast, we also have a strong fishing culture. I've seen
a rise in fitness groups and clubs, such as running clubs and cycling teams. There are
a lot of my friends who do yoga or Pilates. There's a lot to do, whether you like team
sports or things that you do by yourself.
@nurilla_cefr @MultiLevelRecord

Part 2 Time: 2 minutes 1 minute preparation

1. Describe a significant educational experience you have had.

2. How has this experience shaped your career or personal development?
3. What do you believe are the key components of a good education?

Answer:

During my last year of college, I took part in an exchange programme in France,

which was a very important learning experience for me. I had always wanted to study
abroad, and this chance gave me the chance to learn about a new country while also
continuing my studies. It was both hard and satisfying to go through it. It was hard for
me to get used to a new school system that made me do more solo work and think
more critically. Living in a different country also helped me get better at French and
gave me a bigger picture view of problems that affect people around the world. I
made friends for life and learned a lot about myself during that time. It was one of the
best things that came to my life.

This experience has had a huge impact on both my work and my personal growth. It
helped me become more flexible and open to new challenges at work, which has
been very helpful in my job. This has made me feel more comfortable working on
foreign projects and with people from different backgrounds. I learned how important
it is to get out of my comfort zone from the experience. It forced me to become
stronger and learn how to solve problems, which have helped me a lot in my personal
and work life. Also, learning about other cultures and ways of thinking has made me
more understanding and empathetic, which are very important in today's world where
everything is linked.

I think that a few things are very important when it comes to the main parts of a good
education. First, a good education should help kids think critically and be creative. Not
only is it important to remember facts, but also to know how to use what you've
@nurilla_cefr @MultiLevelRecord
learned in real life. Second, it should encourage people to keep learning throughout
their lives. Getting people interested in learning and excited about it will help them
continue to grow and change even after they leave the classroom. Third, it's important
to have a place that is helpful and welcoming. Students do better in school and in life
when they feel like they are respected and heard. Lastly, it's important to get real-
world experience through jobs or projects that you can work on your own. These
activities connect what students learn in the classroom with what they will do in their
future jobs. Overall, a well-rounded education gives people the knowledge and
mindset they need to survive in a world that is always changing.

Part 3 Time: 2 minutes 1 minute preparation

Social media has become an unavoidable part of our lives, giving us a way to meet,
talk, and share information. But there are disagreements about how it affects mental
health. Let's talk about both the good and bad effects of using social media today.

On the plus side, social media can help people feel like they belong and are
connected. It lets us stay in touch with loved ones who live far away, get back in
touch with old friends, and meet new people who share our hobbies. Online groups
can be very helpful, especially for people who have trouble with anxiety or feeling
alone. These communities can help people feel better mentally by giving them
support and a feeling that they are understood.

Also, social media makes it easier to express yourself and find out more about your
personality. It lets people share their ideas and experiences with more people, which
could boost their confidence and help them feel more like themselves. Social media
sites can also be very useful for making people more aware of important social
problems, getting people to support different causes, and making the world a better
place. Seeing other people fight for change can inspire and motivate you.

But the possible bad things that can happen when you use social media can't be
avoided. Too much use has been linked to more depression and worry. The highly
@nurilla_cefr @MultiLevelRecord
curated online personas that people show on social media can make people feel
inadequate and compare themselves to others, especially young users. Looking at
lives on social media that look too good to be true can be disheartening and give you
a skewed view of reality.

Cyberbullying is also a big problem. Negative comments and abuse online can be
very bad for your mental health, especially if you are a young person. Fear of missing
out (FOMO) and the constant pressure to be involved online can also be too much,
causing stress and a feeling of not being good enough. The adrenaline rush that
comes from comments and likes can become addicting, leading to too much use and
a further loss of contact with real people.

In the end, social media paints a complicated picture. Even though it can help you
connect with others, express yourself, and become more aware, the bad effects it
might have on your mental health need to be carefully thought through. In the digital
age, it's important to protect our mental health by finding a good balance, limiting
excessive use, and putting real-life interactions first.

Multi-Level Record Mock Test 3

Part 1.1 Time: 30 seconds each No preparation

1. What kind of music do you like?

I like a lot of different kinds of music, but rock is my favourite. The songs make me
feel alive and passionate, and the words to many of them are deep and important. I
love The Beatles, and I never get tired of listening to their songs. As for me, I enjoy
going to live shows whenever I can because the energy is always high. Music can
make me feel better and give me comfort when things are hard. It's easy for me to
find new acts and enjoy different kinds of music.

2. Is travelling something you like to do?

Of course I love to travel! It's fun to discover new places and learn about other
countries. Japan is my dream vacation spot because it has so much history and
beautiful scenery. I also like meeting new people from all walks of life and trying new
foods when I travel. Travelling helps me see things in a new way and realise how
different the world is. I always try to learn a few words and sentences in the language
and live like a local as much as possible.

3. What's your favourite way to enjoy your birthday?

On my birthday, I usually have a small get-together with family and friends. We eat
well, play games, and enjoy being with each other. Every year, it's a great day full of
laughs and good times. We also go out for special events from time to time, like
bowling or going to an entertainment park. Thanks for all the work your loved ones did
to make my day special, whether it was with thoughtful gifts or words from the heart.
Every year on my birthday, I remember how lucky I am to have such wonderful
people in my life.
@nurilla_cefr @MultiLevelRecord
Part 1.2 Time: 30 seconds each No preparation

1. These shots show me two very different places of work. In the first picture, there is
someone who looks like they are stressed out at work. They are sitting at a desk with
a laptop and have their head in their hands. I see a construction or factory worker
carrying a big pipe in the second shot. He has on safety gear like a hard hat and a
high-visibility coat.

2. The problems they're having look very different. For an office worker, I think the
hardest things are probably mental stress, maybe long hours, and having to meet
goals. They might have trouble balancing work and life or feeling like they have too
many things to do. But the building worker probably has trouble with his or her body.
Their job looks hard and maybe even dangerous, so they need to be strong and
careful. They might have to deal with bad weather and the chance of getting hurt on
the job.

3. I think the biggest difference between these jobs is the type of work they do. It's
clear that the office job requires mental work, since it involves computers, meetings,
and fixing problems in your head. The building job requires a lot of physical work and
technical know-how. The places where they work are also very different: one is inside
and has climate control, while the other is outside and is open to the weather.
@nurilla_cefr @MultiLevelRecord
Part 2 Time: 2 minutes 1 minute preparation

1. Talk about a piece of technology you use frequently.

2. How has this technology affected your daily life?
3. What are the advantages and disadvantages of rapid technological advancement?

My smartphone is a piece of technology that I use a lot. Amazingly, this little gadget
has become such an important part of my daily life. It helps me with almost
everything, from work and personal life management to talking to people and having
fun. My smartphone keeps me in touch and up to date by letting me check my emails,
browse social media, and use mapping apps. Also, the many apps out there have
made it easier to do many things, like shopping online, paying, and even learning new
skills. It's crazy to think about how reliant we've become on these things so quickly.
The technology I use has changed my life in big ways. For starters, it has made me
much more productive.

I can stay on top of my work and better handle my time when I have access to emails
and apps for work. Second, it has helped me get along better with other people.
Friends and family can be anywhere in the world and still talk to me through text apps
and social media. For the bad, I sometimes feel too connected all the time and find it
hard to unplug and unwind. The constant flow of information and alerts can also be
distracting, making it hard to stay focused on one job for long periods of time. Despite
these problems, the pros of ease of use and connectivity usually trump the cons.

There are pros and cons to how quickly technology is changing things. It has changed
the way we live and work, which is a good thing. Better ways to communicate, get
medical care, and learn have made life easier and created new chances. For
instance, telemedicine lets patients talk to doctors from afar, and online classes let
people all over the world get an education. There are, however, some major problems
as well.
@nurilla_cefr @MultiLevelRecord
As technology and AI take over jobs that used to be done by people, the speed of
change can cause people to lose their jobs. Concerns have also been raised about
privacy and safety as more personal information is saved and shared online. Another
problem is the digital gap, which means that not everyone has the same access to the
newest technology. This can make social and economic differences even worse.
Overall, progress in technology has many benefits, but it's important to deal with the
problems and make sure that progress is fair and lasts.

Part 3 Time: 2 minutes 1 minute preparation

Cryptocurrency has become a big deal in global finance, with supporters saying it's
the way of the future for doing business. I think that cryptocurrencies offer new ways
to solve problems, but they also come with big problems that need to be carefully
thought through.

Cryptocurrencies' supporters say that they decentralise financial systems, making

them less dependent on old-fashioned banking systems. By giving disadvantaged
groups access to banking services, this decentralisation improves financial inclusion
and encourages people around the world to take part in the economy. Also,
blockchain technology, which is what makes cryptocurrencies possible, makes
transactions safe and clear. This solves long-standing problems with trust and
responsibility in financial systems. Cryptocurrencies also make it easier and faster to
send money across borders, which is good for foreign trade and money transfers.
They may also be able to stop hyperinflation and make fiat currencies less safe in
some countries, which protects against economic instability.
@nurilla_cefr @MultiLevelRecord
Critics, on the other hand, point out big problems that cryptocurrencies have.
Because they change a lot, they are risky investments that could make financial
markets less stable and put buyers at risk. Regulatory frameworks have a hard time
keeping up with changes in technology, which leaves customers open to fraud and
hacking. Widespread usage is also slowed down by issues like not knowing how to
use technology and the need for strong digital infrastructure. Because cryptocurrency
mining uses a lot of energy, it raises environmental worries and adds to debates
about sustainability. Also, because cryptocurrencies are pseudo-anonymous, they
can make illegal activities easier, which worries governing bodies around the world.

In conclusion, cryptocurrency has a lot of exciting potential for the future of banking,
but it needs to be careful to avoid these problems on its way forward. Governments,
businesses, and regulators need to work together to make strong models that reduce
risks and make the most of the benefits of this new technology. Cryptocurrencies
could change the way the world finances, but only if they are carefully regulated and
technology improves. It is important to think about the risks and problems that need to
be solved before implementing them.

Multi-Level Record Mock Test 4

Part 1.1 Time: 30 seconds each No preparation

1. Do you like to read?

- I do love to read! I love getting lost in other places and forgetting about the real
world. Fantasy and adventure are my favourite types of books because they keep me
interested and involved. Other than reading, I also like talking about books with
friends or in book clubs, which makes it even more fun. Reading has been a hobby of
mine since I was a child, and it has had a big impact on my creativity and ability to
think critically. I can get lost in a book for hours on end, taking the story in fully.

2. Which season do you like the most?

Autumn is my favourite season. I love how cool it is outside and how pretty the leaves
are. It's also a great time to wear warm clothing and drink hot drinks. That's why
autumn is my favourite season. It has a special air that makes me feel both
melancholy and refreshed. I like going for long walks to see how the scenery
changes, and I usually bring my camera with me to catch the bright leaves. It's also
my favourite holiday season, and I look forward to it every year.

3. Do you like sports?

- I'm not very athletic, but I like swimming. You can have fun and stay fit at the same
time. I like to watch soccer games on TV too, especially during big events like the
World Cup. Just for fun, I play tennis or frisbee with my friends from time to time.
Swimming calms me down and keeps me in shape by working out my whole body. I
enjoy the friendships and thrills that come with both playing and watching sports.
@nurilla_cefr @MultiLevelRecord
Part 1.2 Time: 30 seconds each No preparation

1. First, these vacation spots in the pictures look beautiful! The first picture is of a
tropical paradise with houses floating on the water, turquoise water that is as clear as
glass, and a lush mountain in the background. It makes me think of the Maldives or
Bora Bora. The second picture is very different; it shows a winter wonderland with a
ski hill full of people having fun in the snow. There are pine trees all over the
mountain, making it look like a typical Alpine scene.

2. I think both of these places would be great for a vacation, but if I had to pick one,
I'd go to the tropical beach resort. I love the thought of unwinding in those bungalows
over the water, swimming in the warm water, and discovering the island. Still, I can
see why people might want to go to the ski area, especially those who like winter
sports and spending time by the fire.

3. I think vacations are very important. From what I've seen, taking time off work to
relax and see new places is important for keeping your mental health in good shape
and avoiding stress. We can recharge, spend time with loved ones, and see things
from a different point of view by visiting new places or countries during the holidays.
They also give you something to look forward to and can make you happier in
general. I know that not everyone can go on long vacations, but I think that even
small breaks, also known as "staycations," can be helpful.
@nurilla_cefr @MultiLevelRecord
Part 2 Time: 2minutes 1 minute preparation

1. Describe a family tradition that is important to you.

2. How has this tradition influenced your relationship with your family?
3. What role do family traditions play in maintaining family bonds?

The holiday get-together with my family is a ritual that I value. My whole family gets
together to celebrate every year during the winter holidays. There will be laughter,
good food, and experiences that will last a lifetime. As a ritual, we cook a big meal
together and each bring one of their favourite dishes. Sometimes we even sing
Christmas songs while we sit around the stove and tell stories. This custom is very
important to me because it has been passed down from generation to generation.

This practice has had a big effect on how I get along with my family. It has made our
relationship stronger and given us a sense of unity and connection. We always make
time for this get-together, even when our lives get busy. It shows us how important
family is in our lives. It has also taught me how important it is to be with other people
and how much fun it is to share adventures. I have a better understanding and
appreciation of my family's past and traditions because of these get-togethers. It
helps people of all ages feel connected and in love with each other by reminding them
of their love and support.

Family customs are a big part of keeping the family close. They help people feel like
they belong and give family members a connection to their roots and history.
Traditions give families a chance to spend valuable time together, which makes
relationships stronger and communication easier. They also help people pass on
traditions, values, and stories from one family to the next. These customs keep the
family together by reminding them of their shared history and the love that ties them
together during times of change or uncertainty. In the end, family customs help make
memories that last a lifetime and build a strong sense of community within the family,
which makes for a caring and supportive environment.
@nurilla_cefr @MultiLevelRecord
Part 3 Time: 2minutes 1 minute preparation

Climate change is a very important problem that affects everyone, and I am sure that
people are the main cause of it. There is strong agreement among scientists that
burning fossil fuels, cutting down trees, and industry processes all release
greenhouse gases into the air. These gases trap heat and mess up Earth's climate
system. Human activity has caused global temperatures to rise, the polar ice caps to
melt, and more extreme weather events to happen. These changes are very
dangerous for both nature and people.

Many studies have shown that the unusual rate of climate change seen in the last few
decades is directly linked to the emissions of greenhouse gases by humans. The
Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says that most of the rise in
average global temperatures since the middle of the 20th century is due to human
actions. This data shows how important it is to stop climate change caused by
humans as soon as possible through global cooperation and environmentally friendly
actions.

Sceptics, on the other hand, say that changes in Earth's temperature are also caused
by natural cycles and changes in the climate. They talk about how changes in the
climate in the past and natural events like volcanic eruptions and changes in the sun's
activity have affected weather trends over thousands of years. Even though these
things do play a part, scientists say that the current fast rising trend is mostly caused
by human actions that are speeding up natural climate processes beyond what has
happened in the past.

In conclusion, natural factors do affect how the climate changes, but most scientific
evidence supports the claim that human activities are the main cause of recent
climate change. To solve this world problem, everyone needs to work together to cut
down on greenhouse gas emissions, switch to renewable energy sources, and use
environmentally friendly methods in all areas of life. We can lessen the bad effects of
climate change and protect the world for future generations if we recognise our part in
it and take action.

Multi-Level Record Mock Test 5

Part 1.1 Time: 30 seconds each No preparation

1. What is your favourite movie?

A movie I really enjoy is "The Shawshank Redemption." I really enjoy the story and
think the players did a great job. The movie's themes of hope and strength are very
moving, and they stay with you long after you've seen it. Even though I've seen it
before, I always find something new each time. I'm interested because the characters
change and the story twists, and the ending is so satisfying. It's an emotional movie
that has become a favourite for me that will never go out of style.

2. Do you like to cook?

- I do like to cook, especially when I try out new foods. Making things is a fun and
satisfying hobby that lets me try out new flavours and ingredients. I'm an expert at
Italian food, and I love making pasta and sauces from scratch. One of my favourite
things to do is cook for family and friends and watch them enjoy my food. Putting
together a meal is very relaxing and rewarding for me. I've gathered a number of
recipes over the years and enjoy learning new skills from them.

3. What are your goals for the short and long term?

Going forward, I want to take more trips and see more of the world. I also want to
keep learning and getting better at my job. With any luck, I'll be able to start a family
and call somewhere "home" one day. My main goals are to grow as a person and be
happy, and I think these events will help me reach those goals. I want to get more
schooling and maybe even start my own business one day. It's also important to me
to make a difference in my neighbourhood and build meaningful relationships.

1. These pictures show different ways of eating. There are two women eating in the
first picture. It looks like they are in a restaurant or café. As they smile and eat
together, they look like they're having a great time. The second picture shows a
person eating by themselves at home. They are sitting on a bed or couch with what
looks like a plate of pasta.

2. From my experience, the biggest difference between eating at home and eating out
is the atmosphere and the work that goes into it. I can choose what I eat more easily
at home, where I feel more at ease. I'm welcome to eat in my PJs! Going out to eat,
on the other hand, gives me a break and lets me try things I might not make myself.
At times, it's a more social event, but it might cost more.

3. One of my favourite things about going out to eat is that I don't have to cook or
clean up afterward. In addition, it's a fun way to hang out with family or friends in a
new place. It makes me happy to try new foods and recipes that I might not be able to
make at home. Also, there's something special about eating out—the atmosphere,
the service, and the chance to watch other people.

1. Tell me about a job you have had and what you learned from it.
2. How has your career path affected your personal growth?
3. What do you consider the most important factors when choosing a career?

Answer:

Working as a customer service person for the first time was a job that forever
changed me. I learned a lot about how to talk to people, be patient, and solve
problems while I was working in this job. I dealt with different customers every day,
and each one had their own problems and worries. I learned how to get along with
others and handle tough situations with class through this experience. I also learned
how important it is to actively listen and show empathy, which are key to
understanding and meeting customer wants.

The fast-paced setting also taught me how to organise my time well and put things in
order of importance, which are skills that are useful in any job.
My work path has had a big impact on how I've grown as a person. Starting out in
customer service, I learned how to communicate clearly and solve problems, skills
that have come in handy in later jobs. As I moved up to more senior roles, like team
leader and project manager, I got better at organising and leading people.

At every stage of my work, I've had to learn new things and take on new challenges.
Working with different kinds of people has also helped me see things in a new way
and taught me how important it is to work together and be flexible. These events have
not only helped me get better at my job, but they have also given me more confidence
and strength to deal with the challenges in life.

There are a lot of important things to think about when picking a job. Finding a job
that fits your hobbies and passions is the most important thing you can do. When you
do something you love at work, it can be satisfying and fun. Second, it's important to
think about the chances for growth in a job. Long-term happiness and success can
@nurilla_cefr @MultiLevelRecord
come from having a job that lets you move up and learn new skills. Third, it's
important to think about work-life balance. For the best balance between your work
and personal life, it's important to pick a job that lets you do both. Lastly, the place of
work and the atmosphere of the company are important. Working in a positive and
helpful setting can make you happier at work and improve your health in general. If
you think about these things, you can make smart choices that will help you have a
rewarding and satisfying job.

Online education is becoming more popular as an alternative to standard classroom

learning because it gives students all over the world more freedom and access.
People who support online platforms say that they let students learn at their own
pace, access learning materials from anywhere, and have personalised lessons that
fit their needs and plans. This adaptability can work with different learning styles and
tastes, making education more open to everyone.

But some people say that online education might not fully replicate the immersive
learning setting and social interactions that you can find in a traditional classroom.
Face-to-face interactions with teachers and coworkers allow for real-time feedback,
group learning, and social growth, all of which are important parts of a well-rounded
education. Because these things aren't present in online settings, it can be hard to
keep students interested and meet their individual learning goals.

Finally, it's important to know that while online education can be convenient and
flexible, it has some problems when compared to regular classroom learning. Both
modes have their own pros and cons, and how well they work relies on things like
how the course is designed, the technology that is available, and the preferences of
the students. As technology changes, so does education. Combining the best parts of
traditional and online teaching can improve results and efficiently meet the needs of
all students.

Multi-Level Record Mock Test 6

Part 1.1 Time: 30 seconds each | No preparation

1. What is your favourite book?

- My book "To Kill a Mockingbird" is my favourite. The story is very strong and makes
you think about important problems like racism and unfairness. It taught me how to
care about other people and why it's important to stand up for what's right. It's a
classic because the story is interesting and the characters are well-developed. When
I read it for the first time in high school, it stuck with me. The book's ideas are still
useful today, and I often tell other people to read it.

2. Do you play any instruments?

- There I am, I play the guitar. I've really liked learning since I began a few years ago.
Making music is a fun way for me to unwind and express myself. Another thing I like
to do is play in a social band with my friends. It's fun and helps me get better. Regular
practice has made me become more disciplined and patient. Music is a big part of
my life now, and I love learning new songs and ways to play them.

3. What is your dream job?

- I want to write about travel for a living. I love going to new places and telling other
people about them. It would be great to make a living doing what I love, which is
travelling and writing. It would be very satisfying to be able to encourage other people
to travel and see the world. I want to travel to faraway places, learn about other
cultures, and use my writing to capture the spirit of each place I visit. I would be able
to learn new things and grow at this job while doing something I enjoy.

1. These images show me two different places to work. In the first picture, someone
is using their laptop to join a live conference. They are probably working from home.
The second one shows a meeting in real life, with a bulletin board in the background
and several people seated around a table.

2. From what I've seen and done, working from home and working at a job are not
the same in a number of important ways. Working from home gives you more
freedom over where you work and when you work. It cuts down on travel time and
can make the workplace more personal. Working at a workplace, on the other
hand, lets you talk to your coworkers more face-to-face, which can help you work
together and get a feel for the company culture. It also makes the line between
work and home life clearer.

3. I believe a lot of people today want to work from home for different reasons. I like
how flexible it is for me because I can set up my workspace in a way that works
best for me and save time by not having to commute. For others, it might be about
getting a better work-life balance, living where they want to live, or making it easier
to take care of their families. Working from home can also save you money on
costs like gas and lunch out. I know it's not for everyone, though, because some
people like the structure and interaction of a standard workplace.

Part 2 Time: 2 minutes for answer | 1 minute preparation

1. Discuss a health-related goal you have set for yourself.

2. How have you worked towards achieving this goal?
3. What are the biggest challenges people face in maintaining a healthy lifestyle?

Answer:

Running a marathon is a health goal I set for myself. I've always admired how
disciplined and tough long-distance runners are, so I set myself a task. To reach this
goal, I started with smaller steps, like running 5K and 10K runs, and each week I
gradually increased the distance I ran. To keep myself from getting hurt, I made a
workout plan that included strength training and stretching as well as running. I also
worked hard to eat a healthy, well-balanced diet that was full of nutrients to feed my
body right and boost my performance.
When I joined a running club in my area, I got support, inspiration, and helpful advice
from more experienced runners. Reaching this goal has made me much more
physically fit, given me a huge sense of pride in my work, and given me faith in my
skills. There are many reasons why it can be hard to live a good life. One big problem
is keeping track of time. Taking care of work, family, and personal matters can leave
you with little time to cook meals and exercise.
Another problem is that there is a lot of bad food available, which can be tempting
and handy, making it hard to eat well. It can also be hard to stay motivated, especially
when you can't see the effects right away. Environmental and social pressures, like
living in an area with few leisure facilities, can also make it hard to stick to healthy
habits. To get through these problems, you should make goals that are attainable,
get help from friends or groups, and find fun things to do that fit with your schedule.
Even with these problems, you can live a healthier life if you stay determined and
make small changes over time.
@nurilla_cefr @MultiLevelRecord

Part 3 Time: 2 minutes for answer | 1 minute preparation

Genetically modified (GM) foods have caused a lot of discussion about whether they
are safe and how they might affect health and the environment. Supporters say that
GM foods are tested and approved by regulators very carefully to make sure they
are safe before they hit the market. These plants have been genetically modified to
be resistant to pests, diseases, and weather stresses. This could make farming more
productive and improve the nutritional value of crops to help solve the world's food
security problems.

Some people are worried about how GM foods will affect our health and the
environment in the long run. They question whether the current regulatory systems
are good enough to check for allergens and unintended genetic changes in GM
crops. Consumer advocacy groups also stress how important it is for GM goods to
have clear labels so that people can make smart choices and reduce any risks that
might come with eating them.

In conclusion, GM foods could help with global food security and the long-term
viability of agriculture. However, they need to be constantly studied by scientists and
closely watched by regulators to make sure they are safe for people to eat and good
for the environment. By balancing new ideas with safety measures, we can build trust
in GM technologies and help people make smart decisions about how to use them
to solve future food problems in a way that is sustainable.

Multi-Level Record Mock Test 7

Part 1.1 Time: 30 seconds each No preparation

1. What is your favourite holiday?

- New Year is my favourite holiday. I love how happy everyone with the holiday
lights and spending time with family. I really like that it's a time of happiness and
giving. It is a very special time of year because of the traditions, like putting up the
tree and giving each other gifts. One more thing that makes the holiday mood
stronger is that every year my family bakes cookies together. Our house is filled
with New Year films and music, making it a warm and happy place that I look
forward to every year.

2. Do you like to work out?

- Yes, I do try to work out often to stay fit. I like to do yoga and jog in the morning. It
gives me energy and helps me stay focused all day. I also sometimes go to
exercise classes with friends, which makes working out more fun and social. Being
busy is important to me because it makes my mind and body feel better. I also like
to set exercise goals and keep track of my progress. This helps me stay motivated
and on track with my routine.

3. What languages do you speak?

- English and Spanish are two languages I speak very well. I now speak Spanish
better than I did when I learned it in school. It's a useful skill that lets me talk to
more people, especially when I'm travelling. I also think that learning a language is
fun and interesting. I just started learning French, which is my third language. It's
been fun and challenging. Being able to speak more than one language gives me a
lot of options and lets me connect with people from other countries.

Part 1.2 Time: 30 seconds each No preparation

ANSWER:

1. Here are two famous scenes from rush hour that I see. The first picture shows a
busy public transport, most likely a tube or train, with lots of people squished
together. The second shot shows a city street with a lot of traffic. Rows of cars and
taxis look like they are stuck.

2. I like taking public transport to get to work. I like going there more than driving in
traffic, even though it can get busy during rush hour. I can read, listen to podcasts,
or check my email during this time. It's also better for the earth and often faster in
cities with lots of people. I can see why private transport would be appealing,
though—it's more convenient and gives you more room.

3. Getting rid of traffic jams is hard, but I think there are a few things that could be
done. The number of cars on the road might go down if public transport methods
were made more useful and appealing. Having flexible work hours or the choice to
work from home could help ease traffic during rush hour. Other possible solutions
include buying smart traffic management tools and encouraging people to share
rides. Long-term, planning cities in a way that cuts down on long trips could also
make a big difference.

Part 2 Time: 2minutes 1minute preparation

1. Describe an environmental issue that concerns you.

2. What steps have you taken to address this issue in your own life?
3. What do you think are the most effective ways to protect the environment?**

Answer:
Plastic waste is a big natural problem that worries me a lot. It's scary how much
plastic trash there is in our seas and landfills, and it's terrible for plants and
animals. I have taken a number of steps to deal with this problem in my own life.
Carrying reusable bags, bottles, and tools has helped me use a lot less single-use
plastic. I also make an effort to buy things that come in little or reusable packaging.
It's part of my routine to compost food trash and recycle properly.

In addition, I help clean up parks and beaches by taking part in neighbourhood

clean-up events. Another thing I do is teach others about the effects of plastic
waste and encourage them to make choices that are better for the environment. To
protect the earth well, people need to do things on their own, work together, and
follow government rules. Making choices about your lifestyle that are good for the
environment, like reducing waste, saving energy, and buying eco-friendly items,
can make a big difference.

Community projects, like recycling programmes and campaigns to teach people

about the climate, encourage people to work together and make more people
aware of the problem. On a bigger level, it is very important for the government to
have rules about pollution, protect natural areas, and promote clean energy
sources. To solve world environmental problems, it is also necessary for countries
to work together. We can make the world a healthier and more sustainable place
for future generations if we all work together.
@nurilla_cefr @MultiLevelRecord

Part 3 Time: 2minutes 1minute preparation

ANSWER:

Surveillance by the government is a controversial topic that is often discussed in

terms of how important it is for national security. People who support surveillance
say that it is the only way to find and stop dangers like terrorism, cyberattacks, and
organised crime. Authorities can keep an eye on fishy actions, gather information,
and act quickly on possible threats with the help of surveillance technologies, which
protects public safety and keeps society running smoothly.

In support of this point of view, good monitoring can help the police do their jobs
better and give early warnings about impending threats. Surveillance programmes
have been very helpful in stopping terrorist plots, breaking up criminal networks,
and keeping important assets safe from cyber threats. Surveillance is a proactive
way to reduce risks and make sure national resilience in a world that is becoming
more linked and where asymmetric threats pose big problems.

But critics worry about the balance between security and civil rights, pointing out
that surveillance powers could be abused and privacy could be invaded. There are
moral and legal concerns about people's rights and freedoms when mass spying
programmes collect data and listen in on people's conversations without their
permission. Also, the public is still debating and looking closely at how effective
surveillance is at stopping threats versus how it might violate civil rights.

As a conclusion, government monitoring is an important part of maintaining national

security, but it must be done in a clear, moral, and effective way to protect people's
rights. To find a good balance between security needs and privacy rights, we need
to carefully think about how to regulate things and hold people accountable.
Governments can protect national security and protect basic rights and freedoms at
the same time by adhering to democratic principles and making sure that
monitoring tools are used in a proportional way.

Multi-Level Record Mock Test 8

Part 1.1 Time: 30 seconds each No preparation

1. Where is your favourite spot in town?

- The park is my favourite spot in my city. It's a lovely, quiet place where I can
unwind and enjoy nature. I go there a lot to read, take walks, or have picnics with
friends. There are also many events and activities in the park, which makes it a lively
part of the neighbourhood. You can feed the ducks in the pretty pond and play on
the playground. The park is a great place to get away from the noise and chaos of
the city because it is quiet and peaceful.

2. Do you like to shop?

- A lot of the time I like shopping for clothes and books. It's fun to look around and
discover new things for myself. I also like going to local markets to find interesting
things and fresh food. People can also hang out while shopping. I like to go
shopping with friends and make a day of it. We look around in different shops, try on
clothes, and sometimes eat lunch together. You can hang out with friends and find
new things to do or secret gems.

3. What do you do first thing in the morning?

- A cup of coffee is usually the first thing I do in the morning. Then I do yoga or light
stretching to get my body ready for the day. I eat breakfast and get ready for the day
after that. I also use this time to make plans for the day and write down things I want
to achieve. This process keeps me on track and helps me feel good when I wake up.
Having the same routine every morning helps me stay on track with my tasks and
handle my time well in the afternoon.

1. These pictures show me two different ways to watch a movie. The first picture is of
a crowded movie theatre with a big screen where many people are watching a movie
together. The second picture shows a family or group of friends watching a movie on
a big TV at home. They look comfortable and at ease.

2. I believe that the choice of whether to watch a movie at home or in a theatre usually
depends on the person and the movie. When you watch at home, you can be
comfortable, save time, and money. You are free to eat, wear, and stop the movie
whenever you want. The theatre, on the other hand, is more immersive because of its
big screen and surround music. It's also a chance to meet new people and feel more
important. Some people like going to the movies to see big hits or stunning visuals,
while others would rather watch plays or comedies at home.

3. I like a lot of different kinds of films. I like dramas and films that make me think
and show me new ways to look at life or social problems. It's also nice to watch a
comedy after a long day. Science fiction and fantasy films are great ways to escape
reality, and I enjoy thrillers because they keep me on the edge of my seat. In the
end, I think what draws me in is good storytelling, no matter what type it is.

Part 2 Time: 2minutes 1minute preparation

1. **Talk about a hobby you enjoy.

2. **How has this hobby impacted your life?
3. **What do you think are the benefits of having hobbies?

Answer:

Okay, so painting is where I feel most at peace. It's crazy how it lets me calm down
and be artistic at the same time. Sometime on the weekends, you can find me setting
up my easel somewhere sunny, ready to paint something awesome on a new piece
of paper. It's really cool to mix colours and watch a picture come to life, brushstroke
by brushstroke. Taking my time while painting has also made me a lot more patient.

But it's no longer just me and my brushes. It's been great since I joined this
neighbourhood art group. Sometimes we say things like, "Hey, try this shade of blue
here." This helps everyone get better. But it's more than that; it's like a small family of
art fans. We hang out, get ideas from each other, and make art together.

That's the thing about hobbies, right? They're like a way out of the everyday, a chance
to unwind and recover. Doing things you enjoy will always make you feel good, like a
big mood boost that makes you feel good about everything. It's true that hobbies are
fun, but they're also great ways to learn new things. Not sure if it's a new art trick or
something else? They keep your mind active and give you new options. Plus, hobbies
can help you meet people who share your interests. It's easy to find people who like
the same things you do. There are online groups and clubs in your area. You can
become friends with these people, and you'll feel like you're part of something bigger.
In a world where it's easy to feel alone, hobbies are a great way to bring people
together.
I really mean it when I say that hobbies make life better. They're fun, make you feel
good, and give you a break from the normal things you have to do. You can be
yourself, learn new things, and meet cool people. For the most part, hobbies are like
sparks that make life more fun and satisfying.

Universal healthcare, which means making sure that everyone can get medical care
no matter how much money they have, is an important issue on a world scale. I
strongly believe that everyone should have access to health care as a basic human
right and an important part of social justice. Universal healthcare systems make sure
that everyone has equal access to medical care, lower healthcare disparities, and
improve the health of the whole community.

This point of view is supported by the fact that countries with universal healthcare
systems have lower rates of diseases that can be avoided, longer life expectancy, and
lower costs for their people' healthcare. By combining resources through public funds
and insurance, universal healthcare lowers the financial barriers to healthcare
services. This way, everyone can get the care they need without having to worry about
going bankrupt.

But some people question whether or not national healthcare systems are financially
possible and long-lasting, especially in places where the economic and healthcare
systems are not all the same. They make people worry about how centralised
healthcare systems might affect the standard of care, the cost of care, and the burden
on taxpayers. Also, different ideas about the government's role in healthcare and the
way markets work affect policy debates about healthcare change around the world.

In conclusion, implementing universal healthcare isn't easy, but the benefits in terms
of health equality, social cohesion, and economic productivity are greater than the
costs. To get widespread healthcare coverage in a way that is sustainable, people
around the world should work together on new ways to pay for it, changes to how
healthcare is delivered, and new ways to fund it. Countries can move towards fair and
inclusive healthcare systems for everyone by putting health as a human right first and
investing in healthcare facilities.

Multi-Level Record Mock Test 9

Part 1.1 Time: 30 seconds each No preparation

1. What is your favourite TV show?

- The TV show I love most is "Friends." I love how funny it is and how the
characters interact with each other. It always makes me laugh. I can watch this
show over and over again and never get tired of it. It's great for winding down after
a long day because the shows are short and fun. Each character is different, and
the way they connect with each other is both funny and sweet. There are also a lot
of lines and scenes from the show that have become famous.

2. Do you like gardening?

- Yes, I like to garden. This is a fun and relaxing sport. I grow flowers and some
veggies in a small garden I have. For me, seeing my plants grow and do well
makes me very happy, and I enjoy spending time in the yard a lot. Gardening also
teaches me to be patient and care for others. I enjoy playing around with different
plants and learning how to take care of them. The yard is a peaceful place for me
to be alone with nature.

3. What is your favourite animal?

- Whales are my favourite animal. These animals are smart and friendly. I love
seeing them swim and play in the water. Dolphins look so free and happy all the
time, and I love how playful they are. A boat tour gave me the chance to see them
up close, and it was a memorable experience. I'm amazed by how graceful and
quick they are in the water, and I love how friendly they are and how close their
families are.

1. Looking at these shots side by side, I see two different shopping trips. In the first
picture, a woman is looking at a pair of high heels in a fancy shoe shop. In the
second picture, a younger person is looking around in what looks like a used or
vintage clothing shop. The racks are full of different kinds of clothes.

2. I believe the person in the second picture has a harder choice to make. They
have a lot of clothes choices around them, which can be confusing. The first
shopper seems to be looking for a certain kind of item, while the second buyer has
to look through a lot of different clothing styles, sizes, and types.

3. I like buying, especially for clothes and books. I like how it can be fun to show who
I am through fashion or find new writers. But I try to be careful not to do too much.
Find something that really works for me or learn a lot is something I enjoy. On the
other hand, I know that I need to be careful with my spending and not buy things I
don't need.

1. Tell me about a close friendship you have.

2. How has this friendship influenced your life?
3. What qualities do you think are important in a good friend?

Answer:
I have a close relationship with Alex that has had a big effect on my life. We've been
friends since high school, and our friendship has grown stronger over time. Alex has
always been a trustworthy and helpful friend who is always there for me when I need
to talk or get advice. We enjoy a lot of the same things, like hiking and reading, which
lets us spend important time together. This friendship has taught me how important
it is to be loyal and treat others with care. It's been very comfortable to have someone
who gets me and accepts me for who I am.

This friendship has made my life better in many ways. I've gotten mental support
from it during hard times, which has helped me get through tough times with more
strength. Alex's support and faith in my skills have given me more confidence and
pushed me to reach my goals. Our shared trips and experiences have made
memories that I will always treasure. This bond has also taught me how important it
is to understand how others feel and be there for them. Adding joy, laughter, and a
feeling of safety to my life has made it better. In general, this friendship has had a
hugely good effect on my personal growth and well-being.

I think that a good friend must have certain traits. Being able to trust someone is
very important because it builds a strong and stable friendship. A good friend
should be there for you, understand you, and help and support you when you need
it. They should also be able to listen well and understand and value your thoughts
and feelings. Being honest is important because it helps people talk to each other
and make real relationships. Lastly, having a sense of humour and being able to
share funny times can make the friendship more fun and satisfying. These traits
@nurilla_cefr @MultiLevelRecord

help friends form a strong bond that lasts, which leads to a meaningful and long-
lasting friendship.

Part 3 Time: 2minutes 1minute preparation

Artificial intelligence and robotics are making automation possible, which is

changing businesses and economies all over the world. There are more and more
worries that widespread technology will cause a lot of people to lose their jobs and
become unemployed. People who believe this say that regular and manual jobs
can be done by machines instead, which will lead to a lot of layoffs and unstable
economies. They stress the importance of taking proactive steps to handle the
change and lessen the negative effects on the workforce.

Several studies agree with this point of view and say that a lot of jobs, especially in
the industrial, logistics, and administrative fields, are likely to be automated. For
example, machines can do well at jobs that require doing the same things over and
over again, which lowers the need for human labour. This trend could cause
structural unemployment, which means that workers may have a hard time finding
new jobs without the right reskilling and upskilling programmes.

On the other hand, people who support automation say that new technologies also
create jobs and help the economy grow. In particular, they talk about how
technology can boost output, lower costs, encourage new ideas, and even create
whole new fields of work. Automation can also make working conditions better by
getting rid of boring and dangerous tasks. This frees up workers to do more difficult
and creative tasks that require human creativity.

In conclusion, automation makes it harder to find work, but it also opens up

chances for economic change and workforce growth. Policies that help workers
adapt, like reskilling programmes, lifelong learning initiatives, and social safety
nets, need to be put in place by governments, companies, and schools working
together. Societies can benefit from technology while also making sure that
economic growth is fair and long-lasting by building a strong and flexible workforce.

1. What is your favourite thing to do outside?

- Hiking is my favourite thing to do outside. I love getting outside and discovering

nature at the same time. Plus, I get to enjoy beautiful scenery while I'm running. It's
even more fun to go hiking with family or friends because we can share the
experience and make memories together. I often bring my camera to take pictures
of the wildlife and beautiful scenery. Every walk is a new adventure, and I love the
sense of satisfaction I get when I reach the top or finish a difficult trail.

2. Do you like to paint or draw?

- I do love to paint and draw. It's a great way for me to show off my talent. A lot of
the time, I paint and draw pictures. One of my favourite things to do, it makes me
happy and calms me down. I go to art classes in my area every once in a while to
meet other artists and learn new skills. Drawing and painting help me understand
the world in new ways and express feelings and thoughts that words alone can't
always do.

3. What kinds of books do you like to read?

- Other than science fiction and history fiction, I like reading a lot of different types
of books. I love reading stories that take me to other places and times. Reading is a
fun and useful way to free up your time. Reading groups and talking about books
with friends are other fun ways for me to share my thoughts and learn new ones.
I've recently started reading non-fiction books as well, which help me understand
problems in the real world and learn more. I love to read and my bookcase is
always getting bigger. I also love being alone with a good book.

1. These pictures show two very different ways to shop for food. The first picture
shows a family shopping at a modern grocery store while pushing a cart full of food.
A street market with fresh fruits being sold from a cart is shown in the second shot.
Based on the person wearing the conical hat, the market is probably in an Asian
country.

2. I get my food from a number of different stores. I like going to supermarkets

because they are easy to get to and have a lot of different kinds of food and
packaged things. But I love getting fresh food at neighbourhood farmers' markets,
especially on the weekends. I enjoy buying fruits and veggies that are grown close
to me because I think they are of higher quality.

3. The major differences I've seen between markets and supermarkets are the
atmosphere and the kinds of goods that are sold. Shopping at a supermarket is
easy, they have a lot of goods, and they are always open. It keeps the temperature
stable, and almost everything is inside. Markets, on the other hand, tend to be
livelier and more social places. Most of the time, the food is better and more in
season, and you can often talk to the farmers directly. But markets might only be
open during certain hours and have fewer non-food things to choose from. For my
own shopping needs, I like getting things from both.

Part 2 Time: 2minutes 1minute preparation

1. Describe a cultural event or festival you have attended.

2. How did this event help you understand that culture better?
3. What is the importance of cultural events in promoting understanding and unity?

Answer:

I went to India for the Diwali festival, which made an impact on me that will last a
long time. The Hindu holiday Diwali, which is also called the Festival of Lights, is a
big deal because it marks the win of light over darkness and good over evil. Bright
decorations are used to mark the holiday. Homes and streets are decorated with
rangoli patterns and bright lights. As people gave and received sweets and gifts,
the mood was happy and lively.

It was both exciting and educational for me to take part in traditional practices like
lighting oil lamps and setting off fireworks. It was clear that everyone was
celebrating together, which made it a memorable event.
I learned a lot more about Indian culture after going to the Diwali event. The rituals
and traditions I saw helped me understand the beliefs and ideals that are central to
Hinduism. One example is starting an oil lamp, which is not only a beautiful sight
but also a sign of the victory of knowledge and goodness. I learned how important
family, community, and tradition are in Indian society by spending time with the
locals and taking part in the celebrations. This experience gave me a bigger picture
and made me more accepting of differences in culture.

Celebrations of different cultures, like Diwali, help people understand each other
and work together. They give people from different backgrounds a chance to get
together and enjoy the things that all humans have in common. These events help
people feel like they are part of a community and break down walls between
different groups. Cultural events also help keep customs alive and pass them on to
@nurilla_cefr @MultiLevelRecord

new generations, which is important for keeping cultural heritage alive. They also
teach people about other cultures' traditions and ways of life, which helps people
understand and value those cultures. In a world that is becoming more and more
linked, these kinds of events are necessary to promote peace and understanding.

Part 3 Time: 2minutes 1minute preparation

Answer:

The death sentence, which is a form of capital punishment, is still a controversial

topic around the world. I strongly think that the death penalty should not be used
anywhere in the world for moral, legal, and humanitarian reasons. Because the
death penalty is permanent, it brings up important moral questions about the value
of human life and the chance of wrongfully convicting people.

This point of view is supported by many studies that show the danger of putting
harmless people to death because of problems in the justice system, such as bad
lawyers, mistakes by judges, and bias. Because the death sentence is permanent,
any mistake can't be fixed. This means that innocent lives will always be lost. Also,
there is proof that the death penalty is not a better way to stop people from
committing crimes than long-term prison sentences.
Fans of the death penalty, on the other hand, say that it is important for justice and
punishment, especially for the worst crimes. They think that the death penalty gives
families of victims a sense of closure and justice and is a strong warning against
very bad behaviour. Some people also say that the death sentence can lower the
costs of keeping dangerous criminals in jail for a long time.

Finally, the moral and practical problems with the death sentence make it even
more important to get rid of it everywhere. The focus of justice systems should be
on fair trials, rehabilitation, and restorative justice methods that protect human
rights and respect. By getting rid of the death sentence, societies can move
towards a more fair and humane justice system that focuses on rehabilitation and
avoiding wrong convictions.

Part 1.1 Time: 30 seconds each No preparation

1. What is your favourite restaurant?

A little Italian place downtown is my favourite place to eat. I've never had better pizza
or pasta. The staff is very helpful, and the place feels cosy. I love eating there with
family or friends because it's a great place to have a great meal. The eatery also
serves a variety of fine wines that go well with their food. It's where I've enjoyed many
important events, and it brings back many happy memories.

2. Do you like going to the beach?

I do enjoy beach time. It makes me feel so calm to hear the waves and touch the
sand between my toes. I also like to swim and play beach volleyball with friends.
There's nothing better than relaxing at the beach and taking in the natural beauty of
the ocean. A lot of the time, I bring a book or music to make the experience even
better. One of my favourite things to do is watch the sunset over the water. It makes
me feel calm and peaceful.

3. What is your favourite subject at school?

History is my favourite subject in school. I find it very interesting to learn about other
societies and past events. It helps me see how things have changed over time and
understand the world better. To learn more, I also like to read historical fiction and
watch programmes. There are a lot of great debates and discussions in history class,
which I really enjoy. I'm better at researching and thinking critically because I study
history. These are skills that are useful in many areas of life.

1. As I look at these two pictures next to each other, I see two very different ways of
having fun. The person in the first picture is reading a book while sitting alone in what
looks like a library. It makes me think of how much I enjoy getting lost in a good story.
In the second picture, there are more people around. A group of friends are camping,
playing music, and just hanging out. It's interesting how free time can be used for
both alone and group activities.

2. When I have free time, I like to do a lot of different things. A lot of the time, you can
find me curled up with a book or looking around in a shop. There are times when I like
being outside, though, like on the weekends. I could go hiking in the nearby hills or
have a lunch in the park with some friends. Every once in a while, I like to try cooking
new foods or going to art shows. Changing up what I do keeps things interesting for
me.

3. I believe that each way of having free time has its own pros and cons. Reading is a
great way to learn new words and keep your mind sharp, but if that's all you do, it can
be lonely. Camping and other outdoor activities are great for getting closer to nature
and to friends, but they need more organising and can be affected by the weather.
Making friends is fun and good for your mental health, but if you're shy like me, it can
be tiring. To make the most of my free time, I try to find a mix between these different
things to do.

Part 2 Time: 2minutes 1minute preparation

1. Discuss a personal goal you have set for yourself.

2. What steps are you taking to achieve this goal?
3. Why is setting personal goals important for personal development?

On my list of things I want to do is learn Spanish really well. The Spanish language
and culture have always interested me, and I think that becoming fluent will give me
more chances to travel, work, and grow as a person. Another great way for me to
push myself and improve my brainpower is to learn a new language. Learning how to
speak and write Spanish well will help me connect with more people and learn more
about different countries.

I have taken a number of steps to reach this goal. First, I signed up for a Spanish
class at a nearby community college. I go to class twice a week. It has been very
helpful to have structured lessons and consistent practice. I also use apps like
Duolingo and Babbel to help me learn new words and correct my spelling every day.
Immersing myself in the language has also been very helpful. To improve my
understanding, I watch Spanish films, listen to Spanish music, and read Spanish
books. By joining a language exchange group, I've had the chance to speak with
native speakers, which has helped me a lot with my social skills. I am steadily getting
closer to my goal of fluency by using all of these different ways together.

There are several reasons why setting personal goals is important for growth. To
begin, goals give people direction and purpose, which helps them focus their efforts
and make real progress. They encourage us to get out of our comfort zones and try to
get better. Also, working towards a goal helps you learn self-control and how to
handle your time, which are skills that are useful in all parts of your life. Reaching
goals also makes us feel better about ourselves and gives us a sense of success,
which reinforces the belief that we can handle problems. Lastly, setting personal
goals helps us keep learning and growing, which is important in a world that is always
changing. Setting and working towards personal goals is a key part of living a happy
and successful life.
@nurilla_cefr @MultiLevelRecord

Part 3 Time: 2minutes 1minute preparation

There has been a discussion about school uniforms for a long time in the field of
education policy. I think that all schools should require students to wear uniforms
because they can help with fairness, discipline, and building school pride. Uniforms
can help students feel like they fit and are part of a group, which can help them focus
on school instead of worrying about what to wear.

To support this point of view, making school uniforms required can help reduce social
and economic differences by making sure that all students, no matter what family they
come from, dress the same. This can make the school a better place for everyone by
reducing bullying and peer pressure related to dress trends and brand competition.
Also, uniforms can make dress rules easier to follow, which makes it easier for
schools to keep order.

But some people say that making students wear uniforms to school takes away their
freedom of speech and individuality. They think that letting kids pick out their own
clothes promotes creativity and self-expression, both of which are important for
personal growth. Also, some parents and students find uniforms difficult or expensive,
which makes people wonder if uniform policies will really work and how much they will
cost.

Finally, making everyone wear uniforms to school has some problems. But the
possible benefits in supporting equality, lowering distractions, and creating a positive
school culture make a strong case for them to be used. Schools should work with
parents and students to come up with uniform rules that are fair, comfortable, and
reasonable for everyone. Schools can make a balanced approach that supports both
individuality and a cohesive learning setting this way.

Multi-Level Record Mock Test 12

Part 1.1 Time: 30 seconds each No preparation

1. What do you like to do with your friends?

- My friends and I like to hang out in coffee shops and at the movies. We also like to
have meals in the park or play board games. To spend time with each other and talk
about our lives is always fun. We sometimes plan trips or other things to do over the
weekend to make our get-togethers even more special. We also like going to new
places and seeing new parts of the city. Whenever I'm with my friends, these times
make me laugh and remember great times.

2. Do you have any plans to travel?

- I do plan to go to Italy next summer. I want to visit Rome, Florence, and Venice for
a long time. I can't wait to learn about Italy's history, society, and food. Going to the
lovely towns and landmarks I've read so much about will be a dream come true. I also
want to write about my trip in a travel notebook and take a lot of pictures. A big event
in my life will be travelling to Italy, and I'm looking forward to every part of the trip.

3. What is your favourite memory from when you were a child?

My favourite memory from youth is a trip to the mountains with my family. We enjoyed
nature by climbing, fishing, and being outside for a week. My family and I had a great
time that I will never forget. We got closer during the trip, which was full of fun and
exciting things to do. I remember the cosy house where we stayed and the nights we
spent grilling marshmallows and telling stories around the campfire.

1. What can you in these pictures?

2. What are the benefits of cycling?
3. Why cycling has become popular all over the world?

1. I see two very different ways to ride a bike when I look at these pictures. The first
picture shows someone riding a bike in a more relaxed, every-day way. Two people
are riding a bike together, probably in a city. It looks laid-back and friendly. The
second picture is very different; it shows someone jumping over a wooden building
while riding a bike. It's more about getting thrills and pushing your body to its limits.

2. Getting around by bike has many advantages in my opinion. For me, it's a great
way to stay fit without putting too much stress on my joints. It's also helped me get
stronger in my knees and improve the health of my heart. Besides being good for my
body, cycling has helped me deal with worry. The fresh air and the routine of
pedalling really help me clear my mind. It's also a green way to get around, which
makes me happy because I'm lowering my carbon footprint.

3. I believe there are several reasons why riding is becoming more and more popular
these days. As time goes on, more and more people care about their health and see
riding as a fun way to stay fit. It's also a fairly cheap way to get around and work out,
which is nice in these tough economic times. Biking is a great way to get around
towns without having to deal with traffic or crowded public transportation. People are
also becoming more aware of environmental problems, and cycling is an easy way for
people to lessen their effect. For me, riding a bike around gives me a great sense of
freedom.

1. Tell me about a book that has had a significant impact on you.

2. What did you learn from this book, and how has it influenced you?
3. Why do you think reading is important for personal growth?

An important book that has changed me is "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee.
This famous book takes place in the American South in the 1930s and deals with
important issues like racism, moral development, and kindness. A young girl named
Scout Finch tells the story. Her father, Atticus Finch, is a lawyer who is defending a
black man who is wrongly accused of raping a white woman. The book really hit
home for me with its themes of respect for others, understanding, and the fight
against bias. The interesting story and complex characters in Harper Lee's books
changed the way I think about morals and justice.

Thanks to "To Kill a Mockingbird," I learned how to care about others and always do
what's right, even when it's hard. People have been most impressed by Atticus
Finch's steadfast dedication to justice and his moral strength in the face of social
pressure. The book also showed how widespread racism is and how important it is to
fight all kinds of bias. It made me think about what I believe and how I act, and it
made me want to be more kind and understanding to other people. This book
changed the way I think about social problems and made me even more determined
to fight for fairness and equality in my community.

There are many reasons why reading is important for mental growth. For starters, it
helps us learn more about the world by exposing us to new cultures, thoughts, and
points of view. Reading books can take us to new places and times, which can help
us understand others better and learn more about the world. Second, reading
improves brain skills and makes you think more critically. It makes us think about and
analyse complicated stories, which improves our ability to think creatively and solve
problems. Reading can also give us ideas and encouragement by showing us people
who are like us and encouraging us to follow our dreams. Overall, reading makes our
lives better by helping us grow intellectually and emotionally. It is an essential part of
growing as a person.
@nurilla_cefr @MultiLevelRecord
Part 3 Time: 2minutes 1minute preparation
Artificial intelligence will have a more positive impact on society than negative.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is about to change many areas of life, and I think that in
general, this will be a good thing for society. AI technologies offer never-before-seen
ways to improve decision-making, speed, and new ideas in fields like education,
transportation, and healthcare. Machine learning algorithms can look at huge
amounts of data and figure out how to make things better by making diagnoses,
improving processes, and tailoring learning experiences to each person.

To back up this point of view, new AI technologies could help solve big problems in
society, like health care inequality and stopping climate change. Transportation can
be safer and more efficient with autonomous systems, and natural disasters can be
predicted and lessened with AI-powered predictive analytics, which makes crisis
response and resilience better. Also, automation powered by AI can make boring
chores easier, freeing up people to work on more creative and strategic projects.

But some people are worried about the bad things AI could do, like taking away jobs,
making algorithms biassed, and hacking into people's privacy. As AI technologies
improve quickly, they create new social and legal problems that need to be solved by
clear and accountable systems. There are also ongoing discussions about the
morality of using AI to make decisions and making sure that it is used fairly and
equally in all kinds of social situations.

In conclusion, AI has the potential to change the world, but its use must prioritise
ethical concerns, regulatory systems, and public participation to get the most good for
everyone. For responsible AI deployment to happen that supports innovation while
protecting human rights and societal ideals, governments, businesses, and citizens
must work together. By using AI in a smart way, societies can deal with problems and
look forward to a future made better by new technologies.

1. Do you like watching sports?

Yes, I like to watch sports, especially basketball and soccer. It's cool to see how
skilled the players are and how well they work together. Sometimes I watch games
with family or friends, which makes it even better. We play friendly games and bet on
our favourite teams from time to time. As well as being a great way to rest, watching
sports brings people together and gets them excited. Along with that, I keep up with
my favourite teams' stories and highlights during the season.

2. What kinds of films do you like?

There are many kinds of movies I like, but my favourites are action and adventure
pictures. I like the thrills and tension. Some of my favourite films are in the Marvel
series because they have interesting plots and great characters. I also like how well
these films are made and how many special effects they have.

3. Which treat do you like best?

Chocolate cake is my favourite treat. I love how soft and juicy it is and how rich and
sweet it tastes. It's the perfect treat for any event, whether it's a party or just a normal
day. I also like to bake chocolate cakes and try out different recipes to see which one
works best.

1. I can see two very different kinds of hard work in these pictures. In the first picture,
there is someone working very high up, possibly cleaning or fixing up the outside of a
tall building. They are suspending themselves by ropes and wearing safety gear. I
can see two people gardening or farming in the second shot. They are taking care of
plants or crops in an area that is very green. Two very different places of work: one in
a city with a lot of risk, and one in the country with less risk and more stability.

2. I believe that each of these jobs has its own difficulties. For people who work in
high places, there is clearly the risk. It must be very hard on the body and take a lot of
guts to work at such heights. You'd have to be very careful about your safety and be
good with heights. The job in the garden may not seem as dangerous, but it's still
hard on the body. You'd have to work outside in all kinds of weather and lift and bend
heavy things. Both jobs probably need people who are strong and have a lot of
energy.

3. Even though it's hard, I can see why both kinds of work are important. It's likely that
the job in the sky gives you a sense of excitement and special views of the city.
Taking on such difficult jobs might give you a sense of accomplishment. I think the
gardening job is satisfying because you'll be working with nature, seeing things grow,
and maybe even helping to grow food. These two jobs both get you moving, which is
good for your health, and they both let you see the effects of your work.

Part 2 Time: 2minutes 1minute preparation

1. Describe a time when effective communication was crucial for you.

2. What strategies did you use to ensure clear communication?
3. What do you think are the most important skills for effective communication?

When I had to lead a group of people to come up with a new marketing plan for a
work project, good communication was very important to me. The project's success
rested on team members being able to talk to each other clearly and consistently. I
had to make sure that everyone knew what their job was and that we were all on the
same page with the project's goals and due dates. To do this, I set up frequent
meetings to talk about progress, address any concerns, and make any changes that
were needed. The meetings also gave team members a chance to talk about their
thoughts and work together better.

I used a number of methods to make sure that my information was clear. First, I made
sure that my ideas were expressed clearly and briefly, without using jargon, and that
everyone knew the main points. Another important approach was active listening. I
paid close attention to what people on the team said, asked questions to help them
understand, and urged them to talk freely. I also used graphs, charts, and slideshows
to help explain difficult ideas and make sure everyone understood them. Giving
written recaps of our meetings helped us remember important things and gave us a
place to start when we were talking about them again. These strategies helped keep
things open and encouraged people to work together, which eventually led to the
project's success.

You need to be able to communicate clearly in both personal and business situations.
Active listening is one of the most important skills. It means paying full attention to the
speaker, getting what they're saying, and responding with care. Being clear and to the
point is another important skill that will help your message be clear and easy to
understand. Emotional intelligence is also very important. This means being aware of
and controlling your own emotions as well as being able to understand and care
about other people's feelings. Body language and face expressions are important

forms of nonverbal communication that help people connect and get their point
across. Finally, being flexible is important because it lets you change the way you talk
to people in different situations and groups. These skills make interactions more
useful and important, which leads to better relationships and the results you want.

Social media has more negative effects on society than positive.

People's ways of communicating, connecting, and getting information have changed

because of social media, but their effects on society are still hotly debated. I argue
that even though social media makes it easier for people around the world to meet
and share information, its widespread use has had major negative effects, such as
privacy breaches, the spread of false information, and mental health problems.

In support of this point of view, social media algorithms reward involvement and
virality, which means they often spread harmful information and content that divides
people. This trend has made people more divided, created "echo chambers," and
made people less trusting of established media and institutions. Concerns about data
privacy and security also remain, since tech companies collect and sell user data
without clear ways for users to give permission.

But supporters say that social media gives voice to those who don't have it, makes it
easier to be involved in politics, and helps build communities around the world.
Platforms have been very important in getting people to join social movements, bring
attention to social problems, and hold institutions responsible. Social media also lets
people share cultures, be artistic, and start their own businesses. It also makes
access to information more open and amplifies different points of view.

In conclusion, social media has made contact easier and given people more power,
but it also has some bad effects on privacy, mental health, and the unity of society
that need to be carefully looked at and regulated. Governments, tech companies, and
regular people need to work together to lower the risks of using social media while
also using it to make the world a better place. We can get around the complicated
world of social media and build a more knowledgeable and strong society by
encouraging digital literacy, openness, and moral behaviour.

Multi-Level Record Mock Test 14
Part 1.1 Time: 30 seconds each No preparation

1. What's your favourite thing to do at night?

When I get home in the evening, I like to read a book or watch TV. I like to take a walk
to relax after a long day. I also like having dinner with my family and telling them
about my day. Before bed, it's a nice way to meet and relax.

2. Do you like to write?

Yes, I like writing, especially writing stories. I love making up stories and getting to
know people. Writing is a fun way for me to share my ideas and thoughts. I also keep
a journal where I write about my thoughts and everyday events.

3. What's your favourite way to unwind?

Taking a long, hot bath is my favourite way to unwind. It makes me feel calm and
relaxed. To clear my thoughts, I also like to meditate or listen to music that makes me
feel calm. To stretch and rest my body, I like to do gentle yoga every once in a while.

1. When I look at these pictures next to each other, I see two different cooking
scenes. In the first picture, there are two cooks working in what looks like a
professional kitchen. It looks like they are working on more than one food at the same
time, which could be in a restaurant. The second picture is less serious; it shows
someone cooking in their own kitchen. It's interesting how different they are; one is
clearly a job, and the other is cooking at home.

2. There are many good things about cooking for yourself. It can save you money
compared to going out, and you can control what goes into it and how much you eat,
which is great for people who care about their health. It can also be a way to relax
and express yourself creatively. It does take time and work, though, and you need to
plan ahead for food. On the other hand, eating out is more convenient and gives you
more options. You can try different types of food without having to prepare and clean
up afterward. But if you do it too often, it can cost more and be worse for your health.

3. As for me, I quite often cook for myself. Coming up with new recipes is fun for me,
and cooking is a great way to relax after a long day. I like making my own food
because it makes me feel good to know exactly what's in it. Still, I'm not even close to
being a great chef! There are times when I really appreciate how easy it is to grab a
quick bite to eat or order in, like when I'm really tired or busy. I try to eat out and cook
at home at the same time so I can get the best of both worlds.

Part 2 Time: 2minutes 1minute preparation

1. Talk about your favorite meal and why you enjoy it.
2. How do your food preferences reflect your cultural background?
3. What role does food play in bringing people together?

Since I like a lot of different things, sushi is my favourite food. There is a Japanese
food called sushi that is both delicious and works of art. I love how fresh fish,
vinegared rice, and different sides like seaweed, wasabi, and pickled ginger taste
together. From the soft, melt-in-your-mouth sashimi to the pleasing crunch of tempura
rolls, each bite has its own taste and texture. Sushi is often presented in a beautiful
and careful way that shows how skilled and careful the chef is. Sushi is also a good
choice because it has a lot of protein, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals.
When you eat at a sushi restaurant, you can always enjoy yourself because you can
try new kinds of sushi and admire the skill that goes into making them.

My cultural past has a big effect on the foods I like. Because I grew up in a
multicultural home, I tried a lot of different foods, which made me appreciate different
tastes and cooking styles. One thing that shows how connected my family is to
Japanese society is sushi. For special events, we often went to Japanese restaurants
or made sushi at home. Through this tradition, I've grown to love Japanese food and
understand its cultural importance. For my family, food has always been a way to
connect with our history and share events from our culture with other people.

Food is an important way to bring people together. Sharing a meal is a universal way
to bring people together and show hospitality. It also creates chances to meet and
talk. Food can bring people together across language and cultural obstacles, helping
them understand and feel like they are part of a group. Celebration meals, like holiday
feasts or family get-togethers, make bonds stronger and memories that last a lifetime.
Putting together and sharing a meal often takes thought and work, so it can also be a
way to show love and care. Food habits that have been passed down from generation
to generation also help to protect cultural heritage and build a sense of who we are. In

the end, food isn't just something we eat; it's also a great way to make and keep
friends.

Part 3 Time: 2minutes 1minute preparation

Public transport should be free to everyone.

The idea that everyone should be able to use public transport for free is a strong one
that has big effects on society, the economy, and the environment. Supporters say
that making public travel free can make it easier for more people to use, ease traffic,
and lower carbon emissions. By getting rid of fare barriers, public transport can
become a more appealing way to commute, which can lead to more people using it
and better city movement.

In support of this point of view, free public transportation can help promote social
justice by giving low-income people and families inexpensive ways to get around. It
can make things easier on families' budgets, letting them spend money on other
important things. Using public transport more can also help ease traffic, cut down on
the need for personal cars, and lower greenhouse gas emissions, all of which are
good for the environment.

Critics, on the other hand, point out how expensive it is to set up and run free public
transport systems. They say that if fare income goes away, the budget could fall
short, which would mean that the government would have to either spend more
money on other important services or get more money from taxes. People may also
worry about crowding and service quality if public transport systems are not handled
and funded properly.

In conclusion, free public transport has many benefits for accessibility, fairness, and
the environment. However, it can only work if it is managed well and has long-term
funding models. To help make public transport systems free, governments should
carefully think about how it will affect the economy and look into new ideas, like
public-private partnerships and special transit taxes. In this way, they can improve
travel in cities and make the system more sustainable and open to everyone.

Multi-Level Record Mock Test 15
Part 1.1 Time: 30 seconds each No preparation

1. How do you normally get your news?

I usually get my news from both online and TV sources. I get my news from reliable
news websites and social media sites where major news outlets post updates. This is
a good way for me to get real-time knowledge. I also watch the evening news on TV
to get a more complete picture of what happened during the day. This mix helps me
keep up with news from around the world and in my own country.

2. Do you like reading news about your own country or about other countries?

I like reading both local and foreign news because they are useful in their own ways. I
like reading local news because it keeps me up to date on things going on in my
neighbourhood, like events, politics, and problems that affect me directly. On the
other hand, foreign news helps me understand events and trends happening around
the world, which is very important in our connected world. I can see current events
from a variety of angles because I know about both.

3. Has the news ever made you decide something?

Yes, the news has affected my choices more than once. For example, I paid close
attention to news reports during the COVID-19 pandemic to learn about health rules
and restrictions. This helped me decide where to journey, how to interact with other
people, and how to stay safe. For example, when I read about a big environmental
problem, it made me want to change the things I do every day to be more
environmentally friendly. News can be a very useful way to learn about things and
help us make decisions.

1. There are two very different situations with wild animals that I can see in these
shots. The first picture shows a leopard or jaguar that is kept as a pet, chained up in
what looks like a zoo. Its spotted fur is very pretty, but it's sad to see such a beautiful
animal locked up. The second picture shows a totally different scene: a group of
zebras roaming freely in what looks like an African savanna, where they live naturally.
Animals that are confined are very different from animals that are free.

2. There are good and bad things about keeping animals as pets. Positively, zoos can
be very important for protecting wildlife, especially species that are in danger of going
extinct. Their job is to keep breeding programmes safe, and they can also teach
people about wildlife. But the bad things are pretty big. Many animals get stressed out
and act in ways that aren't normal when they are confined. They can't move around,
hunt, or interact with each other the way they normally do. This is a complicated
matter that needs careful thought.

3. I don't really feel either way about zoos. I understand that animals can teach us
things and help protect the environment, but I don't like the idea of having them as
pets, especially big cats and elephants. I think that modern zoos have done a great
job of making enclosures better and making sure animals are happy and healthy, but I
think we should put more effort into saving natural habitats. It might be better to let
animals live in wildlife reserves, which give them more room and freedom while still
keeping them safe.

Part 2 Time: 2minutes 1minute preparation

1. Tell me about a new skill you have learned recently.

2. How did you go about learning this skill, and what challenges did you face?
3. Why is it important to continue learning new skills throughout life?

Answer:

I learned to play the guitar not long ago, and it has been a satisfying and fun
experience. I've always loved music, and learning to play an instrument seemed like a
great way to get more involved with my favourite songs and enjoy them even more.
To begin, I took online classes that taught me the basics in a structured way,
including chords, strumming patterns, and where to put my fingers. I slowly got better
by practicing every day, even if it was only for a short time. I also watched lessons
and asked more experienced players for help, which helped me learn a lot. I went
from playing easy songs to more difficult pieces over time, and I enjoyed the sense of
accomplishment that came with each step forward.

There were some hard parts to learning how to play the guitar. At first, it was hard for
me to press the strings correctly because my fingers hurt and I wasn't strong enough
or dexterous enough. It was also hard to keep up with the beat and make sure my
playing matched the changes in the chords. But sticking with it and being patient were
important. I divided my practice lessons into manageable chunks and worked on
getting better at one thing at a time. Keeping track of my progress and listening to my
playing helped me figure out what I needed to work on. Additionally, staying inspired
with the help of friends and joining a local music group gave me support and
motivation. Getting through these problems made the learning process even more
satisfying.

For emotional and professional growth, it's important to keep learning new things
throughout your life. It keeps our minds busy and lively, which is good for brain health
and keeps us from getting stuck. Getting new skills also helps us adapt, which makes
us stronger when things change and better prepared to take advantage of new
@nurilla_cefr @MultiLevelRecord
chances. It makes us feel good about ourselves and gives us a sense of
accomplishment, which makes us believe in our skills even more. Learning new
things can also lead to new hobbies and interests, which can make our lives better
and help us make new friends. In the end, learning new things throughout our lives
makes them more interesting and fuller, helping us adapt and do well in a world that
is always changing.

Volunteering should be mandatory for school children

Making kids serve as part of their schoolwork is an interesting idea that could help
them become more responsible, involved in their communities, and grow as people.
People who support making volunteering required think it can teach students a sense
of civic duty, improve their empathy and teamwork, and give them useful real-life
experiences that go beyond what they learn in school.

This point of view is supported by the fact that making students work can help them
learn important life skills like how to communicate, lead, and solve problems. It puts
them in touch with different groups and points of view, which helps them understand
and value societal problems more. Additionally, helping can make students' resumes
and college applications stronger, giving them an edge in future endeavours.

Critics, on the other hand, say that making volunteering required could take away
from its meaning and make it more like a chore instead of a choice to help others.
They say that making students go to programmes they don't want to might add to
their already busy plans and make them angry and stressed. Concerns are also made
about the practical and managerial difficulties of putting these kinds of programmes
into action and keeping an eye on them in schools.

In conclusion, making students volunteer can be very good for their health and
education, but it's important to make sure that the benefits don't outweigh the risks to
their freedom and health. For students to do community service, schools should focus
on making a safe space that encourages involvement on their own and gives them a
variety of flexible options. Schools can make students more responsible and caring
without taking away their freedom or drive by encouraging them to volunteer.
