Group Project Steps


Wednesday
1) Each table group will be assigned ​one​ of six methods used by Stalin to control his country.
2) Complete the ​Read - Generate - Sort - Solve​ reading and writing directions to gather information about your
assigned topic.
3) Groups will begin to choose which type of product(s) to create for the showcase

Possible Project Products -


★ Google Sides presentation featuring slides for the most important facts of your topic.
★ FlipGrid Video of students acting out a 3-5 minute scene that represents the ideas of your topic.
★ Group Poster featuring the major facts and illustrations/pictures of your group topic.

Thursday
4) First half of double period - Groups work to produce the product(s) based on the main ideas and details
generated in Wednesday’s group work.
5) Second half of double period - Groups will take turns showcasing their topics while the other groups take notes
as the audience.
****All students should review Stalin’s methods of control for a quiz tomorrow after any final presentations.
Friday
6) Depending on timing, any remaining groups will present their topics
7) Quiz on Stalin’s methods of control over the Soviet Union.
