Key Responsibilities:
Billing Executive may perform the following tasks-
On the job, Computer Operator roles can vary depending on their specialty, but general tasks
include:
Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the
telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
Must have a good communication skills ability to interact with insurance companies and
get information about the policy of the patient and know what can be covered in that
policy.
Determines patient invoice by capturing services noted in patient chart; clarifying
services with physicians.
Identifies responsible party by examining patient record.
Maintain the records for goods and services.
Issues invoice by entering service data; calculating charges; mailing invoices.
Resolves billing issues by discussing contract with third-party payer; explaining
insurance contract with patient; negotiating settlement.
Provides billing information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing third-party
billings, accounts pending, and late charges data and trends.
Error free handling on patients by asking follow-up questions to the patients and ensures
accurate billing for them.
Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions;
maintaining the work area neat & clean.
Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.

Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial
information.
Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial
information.
Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
Prepares, compiles, and sorts documents for data entry.
Verifies and logs receipt of data.
Transcribes source data into the required electronic format.
Transfers information from paper formats into computer files using keyboards, data
recorders, or optical scanners.
Performs high-volume data entry using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other
computer software.
Verifies integrity of data by comparing it to source documents.
Reviews data for errors, missing pages, or missing information and resolves any
discrepancies.
Any other work assigns by supervisor/management.
