Read Chapter 5 from your textbook and post your answers to the following questions on your
LMS.

Question 1: Choose a business scenario (e.g., a retail store, a library, or an online service).
Identify at least three entities and their corresponding attributes that would be relevant for a
database design.

Question 2: Based on the entities and attributes you identified in the previous question, create
an Entity-Relationship Diagram (ERD). Include primary keys, and relationships.

Question 3: Given a set of business rules:

"A customer can place multiple orders"

"An order must include at least one product"

convert these rules into an ERD. Identify entities and relationships.

Question 4: Examine an ERD one you have created in Question 2. Write the business rules
that are represented by the ERD.

Question 5: Consider a scenario where you need to design a database for a university's course
registration system. List and explain at least three key factors you would consider in the
design process.

Question 6: Research a real-world example where a company faced challenges with big data
(e.g., data volume, velocity, variety). Describe the challenges and the solutions implemented
by the company. Discuss how these solutions could be applied to other organizations.
