1. Mensuration Formulas
- Area of Triangle = (1/2) * base * height
- Perimeter of Triangle = sum of all sides
- Area of Rectangle = length * breadth
- Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 * (length + breadth)
- Area of Trapezium = (1/2) * (sum of parallel sides) * height
- Volume of Cube = side^3
- Volume of Cylinder = 3.1416 * radius^2 * height
2. Basic Trigonometry
- sin 90 degrees = 1
- cos 30 degrees = sqrt(3)/2
- tan 45 degrees = 1
- sin^2(theta) + cos^2(theta) = 1
- 1 + tan^2(theta) = sec^2(theta)
- 1 + cot^2(theta) = cosec^2(theta)
3. Basic Geometry
- Orthogonal means perpendicular (90-degree angle).
- Incenter of a triangle: Intersection of angle bisectors.
- Centroid: Intersection of medians (divides in 2:1 ratio).
- Circumcenter: Intersection of perpendicular bisectors.
- Hypotenuse in Right Triangle = sqrt(base^2 + height^2) (Pythagoras theorem).
- **Trigonometry Shortcuts:**
- sin 30 degrees = 1/2, cos 60 degrees = 1/2, tan 45 degrees = 1.
- For small angles, sin x is approximately x (in radians).
