ENGINEERING CALCULUS 2A1

DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS AND APPLIED MATHEMATICS

UNIVERSITY OF JOHANNESBURG

ASSESSMENT: FINAL EXAMINATION 2021 MODULE CODE: MAT0CA2/MATECA2

TOTAL POINTS: 40 ASSESSORS: PROF. R. PANT
MODERATOR: MR. M. SIAS DR. A. GOSWAMI

INSTRUCTIONS
(a) Write (i) your full name, (ii) surname, (iii) student number, (iv) cell phone number,
(v) module code, at the top of the first page of your answer script.
(b) Write question number against each of your answer.
(c) If you have more than one page, number them all.
(d) Use blank/ruled papers to answer all the questions.
(e) Use camscanner App. (install on your cell phone) or similar software to take clear
pictures of all the pages. Create a single PDF file of all pages together. Save your
PDF file with your student number, for example 19806789.pdf
(f) Please check that all the pages of the PDF file are clearly visible and in Portrait
form in the same direction.
(g) To upload the PDF file on Black Board, look for the sign Final.x (where x is any
number, for example Final.2). Click on it and a little below on the same page, you
will find “Browse My Computer”. Search your computer/cell phone and choose
the PDF file of your work and upload it. Finally, click the “Submit” button.
(h) Before uploading, check you have taken pictures of correct assignment. Uploaded
pages from another assignment will be considered as part of your work for this
assessment and there will be no further chance to write another assessment
based on that mistake.
O BJECTIVE Q UESTIONS [3×5=15]
