- You will write a 3-5 paragraph essay explaining the content of the current chapter.
- The first 2-4 paragraphs will include the following:
o Correct use of vocabulary to describe each section/topic (vocabulary can be found highlighted
within each section or all together at the beginning of the chapter)
o Explain the content of the chapter, what was taught and how was it used. For chapter 2: chose
one topic/skill from one of the sections we have covered. Discuss how it is utilized and for
what purpose, as it pertains to the unit, and discuss how it applies or is used in other sections
or chapters. For this you may discuss on word problem and the application of the algebra used
to solve the problem.
- The last paragraph will be your reflection on your performance during this chapter:
o Explain what you had difficulty with and what you found to be easy. Be sure to explain why.
o Explain your effort given or a possible explanation for your anticipated grade. (for example,
describe what you did to prepare throughout this chapter – did you do all of the homework?
