A COMPARATIVE STUDY ON IMPACT OF ATMs ON THE USAGE OF

ONLINE PAYMENT SYSTEMS

1.1 INTRODUCTION
Here is the study about impact of ATM system in the Era of
Online Payment System. In the Modern Era, Technological

conduct Financial Transactions.The rise of online payment
system and digital banking Has transformed How we
manage our finance, making Transactions Faster and more

1.2 STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The Topic of the project is a a comparative study on


“Assessing the Impact of ATMs on Online payment System
usage.In this study All banks compete with each other to
attract their customers in different ways through providing
convenient and acceptable services to their customers
The emergence and rapid growth of online payment
systems have transformed the way financial transactions are
conducted, promoting convenience, speed, and a move
towards cashless economies. However, Automated Teller
Machines (ATMs) continue to play a significant role in the
financial ecosystem by providing access to cash and other
essential banking services. In this context, there is a need to
examine the relevance and impact of ATM systems in an
era dominated by digital payment methods.

1.3 SCOPE OF STUDY

Banking Sector is large and difficult area. A bank has


different products and services and customers. This study
gives the perception of different classes of customers of
different age group towards both ATMs and online
payment sytem in kottakkal area
1.4 SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

The outcome of this study will help the management of


banks to know about the satisfaction levels of customers
using both ATMs and Online payment systems and areas in
which they are lagging their customer services

are adopted in studying the problem along with the logic
behind them.So by framing right methodology. Its possible
to gain deeper insight into the research problem and carry
out the project work successful.

possible way.The study will use a quantitative research
design to collect and analyse the numerical data. The design
will involve in the use of questionnaire to collect data from
customers of both ATMs and online payment systems
