About
Jackson County GIS teamed up with the Assessor’s office to create a web application that shows
comparables on residential properties in Jackson County, Oregon. The Latest Residential Sales is a web
mapping application that can be used by real estate agents, appraisers, and the general public to find
comparable sales and related property information. This application is used by Jackson County to ensure
we make equitable valuation decisions.

The Latest Residential Sales application can be used to narrow a search of property sales by defining
property attributes including square footage, price range, and year built. The resulting list of properties
can then be used to help determine the fair market value of a subject or prospective property. Please
note that the application only shows the most recent sale on a property and properties that were
flagged as being fair market value sales after 2002. To find multiple sales on a property, please continue
to use Property Data Online.

On Start
When the Latest Residential Sales app first loads, users will several different sizes of circles. The circles
represent the relative number of sales that have occurred in the general area of the dot. When users
zoom in or search for a property, the dots will be replaced with the boundary of the sale.
