mattsalz Hello,

I want to connect a S7-1500 with a ProFace panel. I can import and select tags
from my Datablock (Gobal DB with "32 single Bits") but after loading to the panel,
this message appears:

"RHAA052:PLC1:Out of range devices exist in write devices (Adress:PLC1)"

The description on ProFace Website was not really helpfull. I've already checked
the tag names (PF doesn't accept --> .,!"$%^&*()-+=#/ \......). I'm not sure if I may

use "Optimized block access" (support doesn't really know).

HMI: Runtime WinGP 4.6.20, TIA Portal Ethernet Driver V1.10.00

Does anybody have experience with this setup?

Best regards

stso Hi

I don't know the ProFace panel in details, but 2 things come to my mind

1. Switch off " Optimized Access" for your DB

2. Some panels use "Put and Get" to communicate with the PLC, enable "Put and
Get" in the HW Properties

I've tried, but it has no influence. I think that's for the "Simatic S7 Ethernet Driver".
Advanced Member I'm using the "TIA Portal Ethernet Driver".

mattsalz Now it's working. I had to select "Optimized Block Access". It's important to use
correct tag names and no "Struct" data types. After changing datatypes, you have
to copy the project file with "ProjectCopy".

Best regards
