1. Every night at exactly midnight, I hear footsteps outside my bedroom window. At first, I
thought it was just my imagination, but the sounds were too real to ignore. The footsteps were
slow and heavy, like someone was walking carefully.

One night, I decided to stay awake and confront whoever—or whatever—was making the
sound. I set my alarm for midnight and tried to keep my eyes open. As the clock ticked closer to
midnight, my heart began to race.

Finally, the clock struck twelve. I heard the familiar footsteps outside, and they were louder than
before. Taking a deep breath, I quietly got out of bed and tiptoed to the window. I peeked out,
trying to see what was there.

At first, I saw nothing but the shadows of trees swaying in the moonlight. But then, I noticed a
dark figure standing just beyond the light of the streetlamp. It looked tall and a bit fuzzy. I felt
scared but also very curious.

Gathering my courage, I opened the window just a little and called out, “Hello? Who are you?”

The figure turned towards me, and I could see it was a big dog with shaggy fur. It wagged its tail
and barked happily! I laughed with relief. The dog had been wandering around, and it must have
come to my window every night, looking for someone to play with.

I quickly opened the window wider and called the dog inside. It happily jumped into my room, its
tail wagging like crazy. From that night on, the footsteps no longer scared me. Instead, they
meant a new friend was waiting outside, ready to join me for fun and games!

2. While cleaning out the attic, Nihan stumbled upon an old, dusty photograph hidden inside a
forgotten box. Curiosity piqued, he carefully picked it up and wiped away the dust. The photo
showed a group of people, all smiling and dressed in old-fashioned clothes. Nihan didn’t
recognize anyone in the picture—except for one person.

There, in the middle of the group, was someone who looked exactly like him! But the
photograph looked like it was taken 50 years ago.

Nihan’s heart skipped a beat. How could this be? He wasn’t even born 50 years ago! He
examined the photo closely, trying to spot any sign of tampering or clues. But it looked real, as if
he had been standing there, a part of that group, all those years ago.
Later that night, he showed the photo to his grandmother, hoping she might know something.
Her eyes widened when she saw it. “Oh, my goodness,” she whispered. “That’s my older
brother, Farhan. He disappeared many years ago, and we never knew where he went. And
you… you look just like him.”

A shiver ran down Nihan’s spine. Could he somehow be connected to this mysterious man from
the past? His grandmother handed him an old family album, and there he found more pictures
of Farhan. It was like looking into a mirror. They were identical.

From that day, Nihan felt a strange connection to the past. Though he never found out the full
story of his mysterious lookalike, he kept the photograph as a reminder. It made him feel that
maybe, in some way, our lives are intertwined with those who came before us.

3. Five years had passed since Rahul last spoke to Rinvi. Five long years since that awful fight
in high school. It had started as a petty argument over something neither of them could even
remember now, but it had grown bigger, and they had stopped talking altogether.

One evening, Rahul was scrolling through social media when he saw a post about a school
reunion. He hadn’t thought about high school much in years, but seeing familiar names and
faces brought back memories—especially memories of Rinvi. He wondered how she was,
whether she had moved on from the fight, or if she even remembered him.

Feeling nervous but determined, Rahul decided to attend the reunion. When he arrived, he
spotted Rinvi across the room, laughing with some old friends. She looked happy and at ease,
but he noticed a bit of surprise in her eyes when she saw him. After some hesitation, he walked
up to her.

"Hey, Rinvi," he said softly. She looked up, and for a moment, there was silence. Then, she
gave him a small smile.

"Hey, Rahul. Long time," she replied.

They stood there, awkwardly, neither quite sure what to say. Finally, Rahul took a deep breath
and said, “I know it’s been a long time, and I don’t even remember what we argued about back
then. But I’m sorry if I hurt you.”

Rinvi nodded, her smile growing warmer. “I don’t remember it either, Rahul. It was silly. Let’s not
let one bad memory ruin all the good ones.”

They both laughed, feeling a weight lift off their shoulders. As the night went on, they talked and
laughed just like old friends. The fight was forgotten, replaced by new memories and laughter.
By the end of the reunion, Rahul and Rinvi had rekindled a friendship that was stronger than
before, grateful for the second chance.

4. Sifat slid into a quiet corner of the library, his newly borrowed book in hand. As he opened it,
a yellowed piece of paper slipped out and fluttered to the floor. Surprised, he picked it up,
noticing the old-fashioned handwriting. It was a letter—unfinished and unsent.

He began reading, his heart beating a little faster with each line. The letter was addressed to
someone named Farida and dated 40 years ago. In the letter, the writer confessed a secret
they’d carried for years—a truth about a family heirloom that had gone missing. It was hidden,
the letter explained, because it contained something precious—a locket with a picture and a
piece of paper folded tightly inside.

The writer never revealed why they had hidden it. The letter ended abruptly, leaving Sifat with
more questions than answers. But he knew that if this locket and its hidden contents were real,
it could mean something deeply important to someone out there, maybe even to Farida or her
family.

Excited and a little scared, Sifat decided to track down anyone who might know about Farida.
He asked around at the library, consulted old newspapers, and even checked with a few elderly
neighbors. Eventually, he learned that Farida had been a real person who once lived nearby.

With a bit of luck and determination, Sifat found Farida’s granddaughter, Amina. Together, they
visited Farida’s old house, which had long been abandoned. In a dusty attic corner, tucked away
under an old floorboard, they found it—the locket, exactly as the letter described.

Inside the locket was a picture of two young people, laughing together, and a piece of paper
with a note: "Always remember, love finds a way."

Amina teared up as she realized this locket connected her to a piece of her family’s hidden past.
She thanked Sifat for finding something so valuable to her family, something they didn’t even
know they had lost. Sifat left the house with a smile, feeling as if he had played a small part in
reuniting a family with a piece of their history.
