To our very hardworking principal Ma’am Annabel T.

Llaso, to our dedicated HTs and to my fellow

teachers, a wonderful day to all of you.

On behalf of all the participants here today, I would like to take this opportunity to recognize and
commend the people behind the success of this INSET (IN-SERVICE EDUCATION AND TRAINING). I am
presenting myself on behalf of other teachers at Jordan National High School, to accept the challenge
given to us.

With this year’s theme:_________________________________________ . Which we successfully

achieved our goals despite the fears and confusions in our heart.

“Making myself out on the box”, Indeed, this is true! Let’s imply this to us, teachers. We must learn to
accept the challenge. Most of our fellow teachers here are afraid of technical terms but here’s my word
of encouragement: Don’t say you are too old of learning new things.

According to Thomas Henry “Try to learn something about everything and everything about something.”
We must be risk-taker. There’s no harm on trying and exploring, if we fail, there’s a second chance. Every
mistake is a new learning. Learning is a never-ending process; every human being keeps on learning till
the end of life.

Jean Piaget once said, “The principal goal of education is to create men who are capable of doing new
things, not simply of repeating what other generations have done – men who are creative, inventive and
discoverers.”

Let’s develop our mind, get new knowledge and skills like this training, our INSET. Only thus we will have
the chance to become extraordinary person. A strong and confident one. "We must be champions for
our innovations. "The challenge to bring out the beauty of education for the Filipino learners. We are
now 21st century teachers who are competent, confident, and empowered to fulfil our duty as
educators.

We know that the world is constantly changing, the students before are not the same today, as well as
the mode of teaching, from face to face to blended and vice versa. We must commit as one, to act and
face the challenges to make this year a success and productive for all.

We are all here, with an open heart, mind and will to learn new things that we will be able to apply as
teachers in our school and community we work with.

With these, and the guidance of our Almighty Father, I am confident and happy to say, CHALLENGE
ACCEPTED! Once again, good morning.
