Share this around so people can get the new doc

FIRST TIME SETUP ONLY:

1. Open a new tab and go to

chrome-extension://adkcpkpghahmbopkjchobieckeoaoeem///manifest.json

2. Press ctrl+p to open print menu

3. Click “More settings” and change things until the number of pages reaches 51:
This includes manually dragging margins to be custom and as small as possible and
setting to 200 scale (see image below)

If the print menu doesn’t load, change paper size to “legal” and it should load. After it
loads, change it back to A5 and continue with the steps.

4. After you see the 51 page count, close the tab (you don’t need to save) and continue
with the steps below

AFTER FIRST TIME SETUP:

1. Open a new tab and go to
chrome-extension://adkcpkpghahmbopkjchobieckeoaoeem///main.js
 (Different link than the setup)

2. Press ctrl+p to open print menu, then wait

3. After about 30 seconds, a page number of around 202,000 should appear
(If this number is less, you did the first time setup wrong, or need to do it again)

4. While the menu is still open, refresh the tab. This should hang the page as it loads
indefinitely

5. Right click the tab at the top of the screen and press duplicate

6. Open a new tab and press the puzzle piece icon in the top right of chrome, then click
manage extensions, then the details button under Lightspeed Filter
 - Fun fact, if you refresh this page, your chromebook restarts

7. Scroll down and toggle the option for "allow access to file URLs"

(Blocked i think)

Be aware that this is a bit more complicated than the print exploit. If you get it to work, it
should function identically to how that one did and have no time limit.

First time setup:

1. Go to chrome://bookmarks/ (or press Ctrl+Shift+O)

2. Right click below any bookmarks you have and create a bookmark folder

3. Inside the folder, right click and add a bookmark with the URL
chrome-extension://adkcpkpghahmbopkjchobieckeoaoeem/in_page.js
(name doesn’t matter)

4. Copy the bookmark you just made and paste it 1100 times (you can just hold Ctrl+V for
like a minute)

Note: if you have an html file you imported as a bookmark folder from a previous version of this
method, that won’t work and you will need to manually make a new one with the steps above.

After first time setup:

(please read all the steps in advance, you won’t be able to look this doc once you start
step 10):
Estimated time: 10 Minutes

5. Plug in your chromebook (gives it more computing power, being near full battery might
also be important)

6. Press the puzzle piece icon in the top right of chrome, then click manage extensions,
then the details button under Lightspeed Filter
 - Fun fact, if you refresh this page, your chromebook restarts

7. Turn off wifi

8. Press the 3 dots in the top right of the screen and press “Bookmarks and lists”
9. Right click the folder you made in the first time setup

10.Press “open all,” then confirm. Start step 11 as soon as you press confirm
 - If you get a black screen after waiting, follow these instructions

11.Spam the switch for "allow access to file URLs" until you see blue/gray loading circles at
the top (about 1 or 2 times per second is usually fast enough)
- It usually takes 1-3 minutes before this happens, but you need to be pressing it
the whole time. Ignore any lag, just keep pressing the switch
- If you see any green circles at all on the top (or the small gray globe icon),
something went wrong and you should go back to step 7 (maybe try adding more
tabs to the folder if this keeps happening)

12.Once you see only the blue/gray loading circles, right click the tab you’re on, then press
“close all tabs to right”

13.Repeat steps 8 through 12 one more time

- (if the exploit runs out after only a few minutes, try repeating twice instead of just
once)

14.Turn on wifi

If you did it right, you should almost always get the infinite duration. Don’t sign out, or you’ll have
to do it again.

General tips:
- Scrolling down to the very bottom of the extension page with the switch can help make
step 11 more consistent, so do that
- If it’s not working, try closing all other tabs that aren’t part of the exploit
- The green circles at the top during step 11 are the main indicator of whether it will work
or not. If you see green circles, it will 100% not work and you need to try again

If you encounter a black screen after step 10:

If your chromebook lags too much and gives you a black screen, you will need to reduce the tab
payload by right clicking on the folder you made earlier and selecting “Bookmark Manager.”
Then, just delete 50 or 100 of them and try again (you can select them quickly by holding shift
and clicking two of them). Repeat until it doesn’t crash.
Note that the black screen can also be caused by not having your chromebook plugged in, and
possibly even if it is plugged in with an already low battery.

Old method (blocked)
This exploit lets you visit any website you want with almost no limitations, and lasts for a few
weeks at a time or until the chromebook is restarted. It takes at most 10 minutes to set up if you
follow all of the steps.

This only works on school chromebooks

FIRST TIME SETUP ONLY:

5. Open a new tab and go to

chrome-extension://adkcpkpghahmbopkjchobieckeoaoeem/manifest.json

loads, change it back to A5 and continue with the steps.

8. After you see the 51 page count, close the tab (you don’t need to save) and continue

13.Open another tab and go to
chrome://extensions/?id=adkcpkpghahmbopkjchobieckeoaoeem

14.Scroll down and toggle the option for "allow access to file URLs"

That's it, you can now go to whatever website you want (you can also close all the setup tabs
now)
Make sure to spread this around using the share button, I think it’d be funny
