Ans: Latitude is the distance north or south of the equator, measured in degrees. It's a
geographic and navigational term that describes the location of a place or person on the
Earth.
Here are some examples of latitude:
 The equator: 0 degrees
 The North Pole: 90 degrees north
 The South Pole: 90 degrees south

Q2: What is longitude. Explain with examples:


Ans: Longitude is the measurement of how far east or west a location is from the prime
meridian, an imaginary line that runs through the geographic poles and Greenwich,
London. Longitude is measured in degrees, and the Earth is divided into 180 sections of longitude,
both east and west of the prime meridian.
Q3: What are the main rivers of Pakistan
Ans: Pakistan has many rivers, including the Indus, Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi, Sutlej, and Kabul.
Q4: What is scale of a map
Map scale refers to the relationship between distance on a map and the corresponding distance
on the ground.
Q5: What do you know about Suez Canal?
The Suez Canal is a 120-mile-long
waterway in Egypt that connects the
Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea. It
opened in 1869, and became the first
direct water route between the
Mediterranean and Red Seas. The
