Here's a brief guide on how to swim:

1. Start with Floating:

o Begin by floating on your back or stomach in shallow water. Relax your body and
keep your head up or face down with a slight tilt, depending on the style.

2. Kicking:

o Use a flutter kick (move your legs up and down) to move forward. Keep your legs
straight but relaxed, using your hips to generate power.

3. Arm Movements:

o For freestyle (front crawl), stretch one arm forward while the other pulls back under
the water. Alternate arms in a smooth, circular motion.

o For breaststroke, move both arms in a circular motion out from your chest and back
in, like scooping water.

4. Breathing:

o In freestyle, turn your head to the side to take a breath while one arm is out of the
water. In breaststroke, lift your head to breathe after each stroke.

5. Stay Relaxed:

o Keep your body as streamlined as possible to reduce resistance, and stay calm in the
water.

Practice these basic steps, and you'll improve your swimming technique over time!
