CHAPTER -1
INTRODUCTION OF TEKLA

DEFINATION:
Tekla is a 3D BIM (Building Information Modeling) Software. In which we can
perform
1. Modeling
2. Detailing / Editing
3. Checking

TEKLA LICENSE COST: Tekla License Cost ranges upto 13Lakhs.

a) For Modeling : 8 Lakhs

b) For Detailing : 5 Lakhs

VERSIONS:

Every year they launch 2 versions. That is in first 6 months they launch one
version and in another 6 months they launch another version.

For Example:

If they launch 1.0 and 1.1 versions in 1 year

The version which they launch in first 6 months is called “General Version”
(i.e; 1.0).

The version which they launch in second 6 months is called “Intermediate

Version” (i.e; 1.1).
