DEFINATION:
Tekla is a 3D BIM (Building Information Modeling) Software. In which we can
perform
1. Modeling
2. Detailing / Editing
3. Checking
VERSIONS:
Every year they launch 2 versions. That is in first 6 months they launch one
version and in another 6 months they launch another version.
For Example:
The version which they launch in first 6 months is called “General Version”
(i.e; 1.0).

COMPANY VERSIONS
Note:
1. If the model is open in the latest version then it again won’t be open in
the previous version.
2. If the model is open in the backdated version then it can be opened in the
latest version.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SINGLE USER AND MULTI -USER:
1. Assembly Drawing sheets (A) : In One Sheet only one main member
with including connecting members.
2. Single Part Drawing sheets (W) : In One Sheet only one connecting
member without including main member.
3. Multi Sheet Drawings (M) : In One Sheet more than one main member
without including connecting members.
4. Gathered Drawing Sheets : In One Sheet only two are more connecting
members without including main members.

Turn ON the Internet before opening the software, then login with your login
id and password. Once the pop-up box of software has opened, Turn OFF the
Internet, then click on OK.
