INTRODUCTION OF TEKLA

DEFINATION:
Tekla is a 3D BIM (Building Information Modeling) Software. In which we can
perform
1. Modeling
2. Detailing / Editing
3. Checking

TEKLA LICENSE COST: Tekla License Cost ranges upto 13Lakhs.

a) For Modeling : 8 Lakhs


b) For Detailing : 5 Lakhs

VERSIONS:

Every year they launch 2 versions. That is in first 6 months they launch one
version and in another 6 months they launch another version.

For Example:

If they launch 1.0 and 1.1 versions in 1 year

The version which they launch in first 6 months is called “General Version”
(i.e; 1.0).

The version which they launch in second 6 months is called “Intermediate


Version” (i.e; 1.1).

3. Multi Sheet Drawings (M) : In One Sheet more than one main member
without including connecting members.

4. Gathered Drawing Sheets : In One Sheet only two are more connecting
members without including main members.

5. General Arrangement Drawing Sheets (G) : AB plans, Erection sheets

2. Install the Environments

Note:
Turn ON the Internet before opening the software, then login with your login
id and password. Once the pop-up box of software has opened, Turn OFF the
Internet, then click on OK.
