Modern Languages under Part III: English /Telugu / Urdu


NOTE: Select any one combination under Humanities:

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO PRIVATE CANDIDATES WITHOUT COLLEGE STUDY


1. The candidates who have passed the qualifying examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P., may
appear for the first year Intermediate Public Examination, after a gap of one year from passing such examination. He / She
may appear for both I & II year exams if the gap period is two years from the date of passing the qualifying exam.
2. Failed candidates of Intermediate Public Examinations / discontinuance of study and who are desirous of changing their
group are eligible to appear for the I & II year Intermediate Public Examinations.
3. The Intermediate Passed candidates who desires to appear for Second language and who passed IPE with BPC and desire
to appear for Mathematics only as Additional subjects. All such candidates should submit the original Inter Marks Memo
and T.C. to the Board along with their applications.
4. Exemption from Attendance certificate will be granted on payment of the prescribed fee.
5. The candidates should select any one of the approved combinations under Part III as shown in the Annexure.
6. Candidates choosing English medium under Part III should secure not less than 40% marks in English at the qualifying
examination except those who have studied and passed the qualifying examination in English Medium.
7. If exemption is rejected 70% of the exemption fee paid (exclusive of penal fee) will be refunded. The application for refund
should reach the office within 3 months from the date of rejection.

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES

1. Application together with the challan for the prescribed fee and with all necessary enclosures securely fastened together
should reach the Secretary, Board of Intermediate Education, Eswar Elite, Beside Sonovision, Tadepalli, Guntur District –
522 501 not later than the prescribed date. Applications received after the prescribed date will be summarily rejected and
no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
2. The due dates for payment of fee without and with penal fee will be published in all leading News papers. The Principals of
nearby colleges may also be contacted for further details.
3. Candidates should pay the prescribed fee through Challan available in bie.ap.gov.in” within the prescribed due dates.
The examination fee should not be sent along with the exemption fee.
4. They should submit along with their application for exemption, two copies of their latest passport size (Bust) photos with
their signatures affixed across thereon.
These photos should also be attested by the Head of any affiliated / Recognised College or Secondary School or Member of
the Board of Intermediate Education or an Inspection Officer of the Education Department or a Revenue Official not below
the rank of MRO.
5. One of these photos should be fastened to the application on the left hand corner in such a manner that it should be easily
removed from the application. The second photo should be pasted at the right hand top corner of the application in the
space allotted for the purpose.
The candidates are instructed to keep two more copies of their photos with them for submission along with their
application for examination. These two photos should not be sent along with the application for exemption.
6. Enquiries regarding the receipt of application in the Office of the Board, will not be attended to. The candidates should sent
their application by Registered post / Speed post.
7. Once the exemption from attendance certificate is granted, subsequent request for the change of second language and
optional subjects cannot be entertained. Candidates desiring to change the second language and optional subjects should
pay fresh fee for exemption for the subsequent examination.
8. Candidates shall select only the language, group and medium as per the Annexure above.
9. Defective and incomplete applications are liable to be rejected.
10. The Board reserves the right to cancel the exemption granted, if the particulars given and attested are subsequently found
to be incorrect.
