ABSTRACT
Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to the advanced capabilities of computer systems to perform
complex tasks, such as reasoning, making decisions, and solving problems, which were once
exclusive to human intellect. AI's rapid advancement has significantly influenced various
aspects of daily life, including the realm of education, where its impact is increasingly
evident. Given the central role that education plays in forming people and, by extension,
societies, it is imperative to investigate how AI is affecting this important field. This study
explores this very topic in an effort to provide light on how artificial intelligence is changing
the educational experience. We examine the potential that AI offers, including alleviating
teacher shortages, creating tailored learning routes, and overcoming language obstacles. But
we also look closely at the problems, such the dehumanization of learning, the widening
digital divide, and the possibility of teacher displacement. Using a critical analysis
methodology, this study thoroughly examines the opportunities and challenges that artificial
intelligence (AI) presents in education by consulting relevant case studies and published
research. Gaining a greater comprehension of these elements will enable us to develop
strategies that optimize AI's capabilities for a more effective and fair learning environment.
Wecan clear the path for a future in which every student has the opportunity to succeed by
utilizing AI to its full potential while preserving the essential human component of education.

INTRODUCTION
Artificial intelligence, often abbreviated as AI, encapsulates the simulation of human-like
cognitive functions in engineered systems. These systems are designed to execute operations
that, traditionally, necessitate human cognitive processes, such as understanding natural
language, recognising patterns and images, making informed choices, and translating between
languages. AI represents a fusion of intricate algorithms and software, enabling machines to
undertake tasks autonomously that would normally require human intervention.Artificial
intelligence provides an extensive variety of application and the potential to completely
reshape a number of fields.
“Artificial intelligence (AI) is a part of our lives. Everything that we do on the internet is
influenced to various extents by AI. It can automate various tasks in education as well as in
other domains. Education domain is mainly benefited by AI, especially for the learning
purpose.” (Singh & Mishra, 2021)
As research into artificial intelligence (AI) within the educational sphere expands, it is
anticipated that the traditional functions of teachers, educational institutions, and leadership
will evolve. The objective of the research is to investigate the potential impacts of AI on
educational practices and to consider what these developments might mean for the future
trajectory of the sector.
The potential of AI to offer individualised learning experience is one of the biggest benefits
for education to deliver personalised content, cc feedback and learning recommendation. AI
powered applications can evaluate student's learning preferences, styles, and progress data
because it lets students learn at their own pacexand in a way that works for them. This can
greatly improve teaching and learning. To free cup time for teachers to concentrate on more
important duties like teaching and mentoring. AI may also automate tedious administrative
chores like reporting, assessment, and grading.vi With the help of AI-powered technologies,
teachers may monitor students’ development in real-time and take appropriate action by
automatically grading assignments, creating reports, and providing insights on student
performance.
Artificial intelligence has the potential to elevate student involvement by making learning
experiences more interactive and enjoyable. Learners are increasingly integrating AI as a
collaborative teaching partner, utilising it to generate lesson ideas, assess assignments, and
