ANCHOR 1: For the top headline! The Mayon Volcano in Albay is still in Alert Level 3. To
give you the live coverage of the report we have Eurika Mabini. Eurika?.

EURIKA: Alert Level 3 is maintained over Mayon Volcano and continued to exhibit slow
effusion of lava flow, reaching maximum lengths of 1.5 kilometers. Lava
collapses have been observed in the Mi-isi and Bonga Gullies, located within
3.3 kilometers from the crater. NDRRMC reported that Mayon’s continuous
volcanic activity has displaced 20,119 locals and affected 38,979 individuals
residing in 26 barangays within Bicol Region. Phivolcs also warned residents
within the area that rockfalls, moderate-sized explosions and prolonged
rainfall might occur amid Mayon’s unrest. This is Eurika Mabini for TV
Coverage 24/7. Back to studio!

ANCHOR 2: Thank you, Mary Joy! Maharlika fund denied by Securities and Exchange
Commission. For the report we have Julia Guidaben, Julia?
JULIA: Yes, Jenn. The Philippines Securities and Exchange Commission has recently
issued a cease and desist order against the Maharlika Agro-Marine Ventures
Corp., the company behind the Maharlika Fund. The Philippines SEC has
ordered MAMV to stop offering investment contracts to the public through its
Maharlika Fund without the necessary registration and approval. The SEC
found that MAMV was not registered to sell securities and did not have a
license to do so. MAMV has been ordered to return the money it received
from investors. The SEC has cautioned the public to be wary of unregistered
entities. The action is aimed at protecting investors and ensuring compliance
with regulations. This is JULIA GUIDABEN for TV coverage 24/7 back to studio!

Reporter 2: We will be right back after this infomercial.

Infomercial

Paul: Mom, it's so hot!

Joy: Definitely! It's because of El Niño my son.
Paul: Really? What's that mom?
Joy: Well, El Niño is an simply an abnormal rise in water temperature commonly in the Pacific
Ocean that releases more heat into the atmosphere, creating a wetter and warmer air.
Paul: Oh! now I know. But it’s still hot mom! Joy: Just drink more water and use the electricfan.
Paul & Joy : And you,
Joy: stay hydrated
Pual: and always know that
Paul & Joy: knowledge is advantageous.

Aljann.

Reporter 4: The Department of Education (DepEd) has set the School Year (SY) 2024-2025 as the
target period for the implementation of the revised curriculum for Kindergarten to Grade
10 (K to 10). The Curriculum Guide (CG) for K to 10 has been released for public comments

Anchor 2:
And now, let’d hear the June’s typical weather in the Philippines. Paul can you now please
tell this all about? What weather we are expecting this June?

Reporter 4:
Yes, Jenn. In our country, when temperatures reach as high as 31°C in the month of June,
it is advised to drink water frequently. June in the Philippines is expected to have a lot of
rainy days. That's why you need to bring a waterproof jacket with you. Stay dry this month
because the Philippines should prepare for 15 to 22 days of rain on average. We strongly
advise you to examine the Philippines 14-day weather forecast before traveling there if
you have any plans to visit the country soon. This is JERICHA BANAS for TV Coverage 24/7!
