cache memory, and thermal design power (TDP).
b) Explain the impact of clock speed and multi-threading on CPU performance.
c) What is cache memory? Describe the difference between L1, L2, and L3 cache
levels.
2. Bus Structure of a Microprocessor
a) Differentiate between a 32-bit processor and a 64-bit processor in terms of bus
structure and system performance.
3. CPU Packaging and Cooling
a) Explain the differences between PGA, LGA, and BGA CPU packaging.
b) Compare air cooling and liquid cooling systems in terms of efficiency, cost, and
suitability for different computing environments.

Section B: Research & Practical Task

1. Practical Task
 Open a task manager (Windows) or activity monitor (Mac) on your computer.
 Identify the CPU model, clock speed, and core usage while running different
applications.
 Take screenshots and analyze how CPU performance changes when performing
tasks like browsing, video playback, and gaming.
