Ecommerce Guidelines

1. CAD parameters: We use parameters in the CAD that can be friendly for all manufacturers.
However, if you have some specific parameters, then we provide you .3DM format, where
you can make the required changes as per your specific requirement. 95% of our clients have
not faced any issue in production with respect to the parameters.

2. Excel sheet: Please treat the excel sheets like a Bonus facility. We always intend to save your
time and hence we are trying to add more value by providing you excel sheets. However,
they may have some typos and we are constantly optimizing them. Please do check the data
from detail images properly as it is going to be a 1-Time investment only.

3. Findings: Please check/consult with your manufacturer to know the exact weight of findings
such as Locks in tennis bracelet, Post/Screw in earrings, Loop/Bail/Chain for pendants etc.
You have to add them in the excel sheet.

4. RPT Testing: I highly recommend to take out RPT of all the designs once and do a QC from
your manufacturer. This will help you know the gold weight and diamond weight with more
accuracy.

5. Diamond wt. calibration: We rely on the charts to know the carat weight of a
stone/diamond from its respective mm size. You can refer to the chart from your
manufacturer for finding total carat weight from the mm sizes that we have provided. This
will help you achieve greater accuracy.

6. Gold wt. calibration: We first find out the 18kt Casting weight at the CAD level and then
reduce 20%, to give you the final 18kt wt. As majority factories witness 20% reduction in gold
weight from the Casting stage. If you think your factory has a different amount of reduction,
you can always change the final 18kt wt. accordingly through reverse calculation.

7. Purity conversion: All our weights are mentioned in 18kt. You can refer the multiplying factor
for converting 18kt into respective metal/purity. But again, please re-confirm with your
manufacturer to calibrate this data as even in India, different states have different kinds of
alloy which do affect the purity of gold.

1.42 1.28 0.85 0.76 0.68
8. Test pieces : Please do get some pieces manufactured so that you are aware of the finishing
and all the above points that I have mentioned.

9. Reliable Manufacturer: The purpose of rendering is to get order. And your manufacturer
should have a CAD team to be able to fulfill any custom order. So please ensure that your
manufacturer is reliable in terms of making CAD and quality finishing.
