Greetings from SGGSIE&T.
SGGS is a leading institute in the field of technical education in Maharashtra. We are an AICTE approved
Government-aided Autonomous Institute established in 1981 with affiliation to SRTMU, Nanded, with 10 UG
and 10 PG branches, and Ph.D. center, we enroll more than 3000+ students every year. We have one of the best
faculty strengths in the state of Maharashtra who did Ph.D.’s mostly from IITs. It is a QIP Center recognized by
UGC, has a TEQIP III Startup Cell, Innovation Lab, Intellectual Property Cell, Entrepreneurship Development
Cell. Admissions to this institute are through centralised admission process and they are strictly on merit basis of
MH- CET examination. Placement season usually starts in the month of July every year and internships season
is always on for winter and summer for the duration of 1 month up to 12 months for UG & PG students.
To enhance the student skills of the students, we request you to grant the permission for internships. This would
definitely create win-win situation to both the organizations and the student too. B.Tech students can spend a
complete semester and M.Tech can spend two semesters, at Industry and work on the live projects. This would
help him/her in working on real-time project rather than keeping it theoretical. I take this opportunity to get in
