ME AND MATHEMATICS

 GOALS

 Explore the relationship that the child has with mathematics from an affective
perspective.
 To assess the subject's perception of how their parents, teachers and peers trust their
chances of success in mathematics.

 DESCRIPTION

The test consists of a list of situations that the subject must read and answer. These
situations are related to the metacognition of their way of working at school, the perception
that others have of them and their self-perception regarding the subject.

 CORRECTION CRITERIA

The following score is assigned according to the response:

- Always 4 points
- Almost always 3 points
- Sometimes 2 points
- Never 1 point

The score obtained is added up and placed in the corresponding range:

60 – 68 points Very good perception and attitude towards mathematics.


50 – 59 points Good perception and attitude towards mathematics.
40 – 49 points Regular perception and attitude towards mathematics.
Less than 40 points Poor perception and attitude towards mathematics.

 INTERPRETATION

Taking into account the frequency with which each trait occurs.
