1. Identify the use of MS excel screen elements.


2. Use of insert, delete, sorting, grouping, dealing with subtotals and grand totals of data.
3. Use of sum, max, min, average.
4. Use of Count, Today, Datedif, Countif, CountBlank.
5. Use of Round, Roundup, Round Down, ABS
6. Use of Sign, Floor, Trim, Value, sqrt, if, sumif.
7. Use of data viewing and reviewing, inserting comments, spell checks.
8. Use data viewing in different ways eg. Page break, normal etc.
9. Identify and use the data to create and modify graphs / charts like column, line, pie, bar.
10. Identify and use the data to create area, scatter, 3D etc. Working with multiple sheets, hyper
linking.
Evaluation Process
Total = 100 Marks
Continuous Internal Evaluation = 80 Marks
 Teacher Assessment Marks = 70 Marks
 Lab Quiz Test = 10 Marks
End Semester Exam = 20 Marks
 With Internal Examiner (Yes / No) = NO
 With External Examiner (Yes / No) = YES
Assessment Procedure: (Internal)
07 Marks shall be awarded for each experiment performed (07×10=70 Marks)
If a student performs lab activity on scheduled session:
Marks allotted for each lab session Attendance: 2 Marks (Total 10×2=20 Marks)
Marks allotted for each lab session Conduction: 3 Marks (Total 10×3=30 Marks)
Marks allotted for each lab session Viva-voce: 2 Marks (Total 10×2=20 Marks)
Assessment Procedure: (External)
An external examiner shall evaluate the performance of the students for 20 Marks where the students
will perform the experiment and appear for viva-voce.
