God opposes the proud but He gives grace to the humble.

1 Col 3:12 12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved,
clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

2 Eph 4:2 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

3 James 4:6 6But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:
“God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”

4 James 4:10 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

5 1 Peter 5:5 5 In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders.
All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,
