CAREER GUIDANCE 2024!

OPENING SPEECH:

"Good morning, everyone! It’s a beautiful day here at Father Urios High School, and we
are gathered today to celebrate an event that holds great importance in shaping our future—the
Career Guidance Month 2024.

This program is more than just a celebration; it’s a journey. A journey that gives us the
opportunity to explore the vast world of professions, uncover our hidden talents, and ignite our
passions as we prepare for the road ahead. Today’s program has been thoughtfully crafted to
inspire and guide us as we prepare to make important decisions about our dreams and
aspirations. As we begin, I encourage each one of you to actively participate and absorb the
lessons and insights shared throughout the day. This is not just an event—it’s a stepping stone
for the future leaders, innovators, and professionals that we all aspire to become.

(PRAYER NATIONAL ANTHEM FUHS HYMN)

And now, let us begin our program by lifting everything to the Lord through an opening prayer.
Followed by singing of the National Anthem and FUHS Hymn. May I request everyone to please
stand.

After the Prayer, Anthem, and Hymn:

Emcee:
"Thank you, everyone. You may now take your seats.

To officially open today’s celebration, let us hear a few words of inspiration from someone who
has always been a pillar of support and guidance for us. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome
our School Principal, Ma’am Jovith D. Villanueva-LPT, MAED-ELM, for her opening
remarks. Let’s give her a warm round of applause! Please!

(Principal gives the opening remarks.)

Emcee:
"Thank you so much, Ma’am Jovith, for your inspiring words. They remind us of the importance
of preparation and determination in achieving our dreams. Let’s give her another round of
applause!"
Parade of Professions

Emcee:
"And now, it’s time for one of the most exciting parts of today’s event—the Parade of
Professions! This is where our students will showcase their creativity and career aspirations
through their costumes, representing the roles they dream of taking on in the future.

We will begin with Grade 7 St Peter Thomas Followed by Grade 7 St. Teresa of Avila. Let’s
cheer them on as they proudly display their chosen professions!"

(Grade 7 students parade. Provide lively commentary, such as:


DOCTOR & ENGINEERS:

"Wow, look at these aspiring doctors and engineers! The future of healthcare and
innovation looks bright!"

During the parade:

 "Look at these future doctors and nurses! With them, the future of healthcare is in great
hands!"
 "And here come our young scientists and engineers. Wow, the next big invention could
come from them!"
 "Oh, check out the lawyers and business leaders! It’s giving professionalism and power,
don’t you think?"

GRADE 8
"Thank you, Grade 7, for such an inspiring start. Now, let’s welcome Grade 8
Prophet Elijah followed by the Grade 8 Prophet Elisha as they step into the
spotlight with their career dreams! Let’s cheer them on!"

GRADE 9
“Grade 8 is showing us their future heroes! From teachers to artists to
architects, these students are full of potential ! Now lets welcome the GRADE 9
St. John of the Cross as they showcase their career dreams. Lets give them around
of applause please.

GRADE 10
Grade 9 is rocking the stage with their amazing outfits—such creativity and
dedication!"

"Finally, here comes Grade 10, St. Titus Brandsma as they showcasing their
bright visions for the future.

Wrap-Up:
"Wow, what an incredible showcase of talent, imagination, and ambition!
Let’s give another big round of applause for all our students. Your hard work
has truly inspired us all!"

Talk by FUHS Guidance Associate (10:00 AM - 11:30 AM)

Before the talk:


"Thank you so much for that colorful and creative parade! Now, it’s time to

switch gears as we hear from someone who plays a vital role in guiding us toward
our future careers. Prepare to take notes and be inspired as we welcome our
Guidance Associate, Ms. Vivien Rose Ortiz!"

After the talk:

Thank you so much, Ms. Vivien, for those insightful words. I’m sure everyone
here gained new knowledge and valuable advice on how to prepare for their
future careers. Let’s give her another warm round of applause!"

Giving of Certificates/Photo Opportunity (11:30 AM - 12:00 PM)

Emcee:
"And now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for—recognition for our participants and their
outstanding efforts! First, let’s give a round of applause to everyone who joined today’s program.
You’ve all done an incredible job!"

When calling winners:

 "And now, the award for Best in Career Outfit for Grade 7 goes to... (name)! Let’s give them a
big cheer as they come up to the stage!"
 "For Grade 8, the award goes to... (name)! Wow, what a creative representation of their chosen
profession!"
 "And for Grade 10, the award goes to... (name)! Truly inspiring—your hard work shines bright
today!"

Transition to the photo opportunity:


"Let’s celebrate this day with a group photo! I invite all our participants, teachers, and organizers
to join us up front. Let’s capture this moment as a symbol of teamwork, creativity, and bright
futures ahead!"
Closing Remarks (Before Ending Program)

Emcee:
"Wow, what a day it has been! From the inspiring parade to the wisdom shared by our speakers
and the recognition of our participants, this event has been a testament to how bright and talented
our students are.

Remember, this is just the beginning. Take everything you’ve learned today and use it as a
stepping stone toward achieving your dreams. The sky’s the limit, so aim high!
