NOTES:

In terms of the appropriate regulations-

1. (a) An application involving the subdivision and/ or consolidation of land must be


accompanied by-

(i) The title deed to the property concerned or a copy thereof duly certified by the
Registrar
of Deeds or notary public including a copy of the surveyor- General’s diagram relating
thereto; and

(ii) A plan or plans on durable transparent material, together with fifteen prints drawn to a
scale sufficiently large for all essential information to be adequately represented
thereon
in accordance with the requirements of subsection (3) of section 34 of the regulations
(see
notes 4-6);

(iii) A commissioner reserving the area against prospecting and certificate from the mining
pegging where the application is to subdivide a property of 100 ha or more in area
into
subdivisions for industrial, commercial or residential purposes;

(iv) Proposals for specialized farming activities shall be accompanied by viability reports,
information on existing supportive infrastructure, borehole yields certificate and/or
Water
Permit to extract a dam or river.

(b). This application is subject to the payment of a fee, calculated in accordance with the
following

(i) for consolidation only, $500,00;

(ii) to enter into an agreement concerning a portion of property, $1000,00;

(iii) for subdivision(s), whether or not any consolidation is also involved-
