MICRO-PROJECT PROPOSAL

TITLE OF MICRO-PROJECT: HEALTH CARE CHATBOT

 RATIONALE:
Healthcare chatbots are becoming essential tools in the medical field due to their ability
to enhance accessibility and efficiency. By providing 24/7 assistance, these chatbots
ensure that patients can receive medical information and support at any time, which is
particularly beneficial for those in remote areas or with limited access to healthcare
facilities. Moreover, by automating routine tasks such as appointment scheduling,
symptom checking, and medication reminders, chatbots can significantly reduce the
workload on healthcare professionals, allowing them to focus on more complex cases.

 LITERATURE REVIEW:
Recent literature on healthcare chatbots highlights significant advancements in artificial
intelligence (AI) and natural language processing (NLP) technologies that have greatly
enhanced their capabilities. These technologies enable chatbots to understand and
respond to user queries more accurately and effectively, leading to more meaningful
interactions with patients. Healthcare chatbots are generally categorized into three types:
informational chatbots that provide general information, conversational chatbots that
engage in interactive dialogues, and prescriptive chatbots that offer specific medical
advice and recommendations. Despite their benefits, there are several challenges that
healthcare chatbots face. Ensuring data privacy and maintaining user trust are paramount,
as these chatbots handle sensitive personal health information.

 PURPOSED METHODOLOGY:
1. The first step was to find the project over internet and syllabus.
2. Selected the topic “HEALTH CARE CHATBOT” for our project by discussing
with the Group Members.
3. Gained information about the overall project and collected necessary
information and examples through various websites and books.
4. Studied all important concepts related to project.
5. Discussed which team members will do what work.
6. All the group members created the report by collecting information
about each point as per the assigned task.
7. Last but not least, each and every team member contributed to create
the final project.
8. And finally, we will submit our micro project to the respective subject.
