PROJECT PROPOSAL

Project Head: NDDU Supreme Student Government Officers 2024 - 2025

Title: NDDU SSG Team Building 2024
Proposed Date: August 9-10, 2024
Venue: Don’s Place Gensan
Faculty Chaperone: Mr. Jason L. Taculod, LPT
Objective/s: - To synergize and build good working relationships among the
NDDU SSG Officers
- To identify and develop the strengths of the NDDU SSG
Officers
- To identify and improve the leadership styles of the NDDU
SSG Officers.

1. RATIONALE
A team that works cohesively rises to greater heights. For a team to grow, it undergoes five
stages of group development, as identified by a psychologist named Bruce Tuckman. The first
step is forming, where individuals are encouraged to set personal goals and see where they fit in
the bigger picture. The initial stage is necessary for the members to observe the direction they
will head into.
This year, the NDDU Supreme Student Government aims to achieve concord and order as one of
their advocacies. To realize this, they should be able to: (a) synergize and build good working
relationships among the group, (b) identify and develop their strengths, and (c) identify and
improve their distinct leadership styles.
To fully embody the true meaning of a Marist Leader, he/she must be competent enough and
well-equipped with the values of St. Marcellin Champagnat. As leaders with teachable hearts,
the officers are keen and committed to leaving more room for improvement; it is for this reason
that conducting a team building is necessary in order to teach the officers about patience, trust,
persistence, teamwork, and delegation.
2. METHODOLOGY A. PREPARATION
• Planning and task distribution with the NDDU SSG Officers.
