About Workverse

Formerly X Billion Skills Lab, Workverse is a virtual world of work where youth
master essential soft skills and behavioral skills. Our mission is to empower
young professionals to thrive alongside artificial intelligence at work, instead of
being replaced by it.

In the Workverse, learners “work” in an imaginary company where they tackle

100s of business scenarios and compete to become the CEO of the organization.
Each of them have access to a mentor “Neuroda” who is the world’s first a.i soft
skills coach. He guides them to make choices in the simulation thereby fusing
learning, assessment and practice.

In our past version (offline training based on the principles of simulation and

Your role:

As a Technology Architect Intern, you will contribute to the development and

maintenance of the Workverse, an AI-enabled world of work. You will collaborate with
senior engineers and AI/ML experts to enhance Neuroda, our career guidance AI, and
assist in designing scalable dashboards and mobile applications for our B2B and B2C
clients. This internship offers hands-on experience in building innovative solutions and
exposure to real-world challenges in technology architecture and platform optimization.

Location: Khar West, Mumbai (this is a work-from-office role)

Responsibilities

Platform Development & Maintenance

1. Work alongside experienced developers to help design, develop, and maintain the
technology infrastructure for our simulator platform and mobile app.
2. Contribute to creating user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces while learning the
basics of backend development.
3. Assist in adding new features and improving existing ones by gathering and
understanding user feedback.
4. Learn and support the implementation of testing strategies, including writing and running
test cases to ensure code quality and functionality.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
1. Collaborate with UX/UI designers, data scientists, and behavioral scientists to
understand project requirements and brainstorm technical solutions.
2. Team up with AI/ML engineers to help integrate career guidance AI modules into the
platform.
3. Participate in code reviews and discussions to gain insights and learn best practices
from senior developers.
4. Help in testing platform features across the stack to identify and troubleshoot issues
effectively.

Technical Skills Required

1. Frontend Development: React.js or Next.js, React Native for mobile app development
2. Backend Development: Node.js with Express.js or Python with either
Django/Flask/FastAPI
3. Cloud & DevOps
4. AWS cloud services
5. Databases: PostgreSQL & MongoDB

Additional Skills
1. A willingness to learn and improve problem-solving and analytical skills.
2. Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse
teams.
3. Basic understanding of software design principles or a keen interest in learning them.
4. Familiarity with basic security concepts and performance optimization techniques is a
plus.
5. Interest in real-time applications and technologies like WebSocket protocols.
6. Curiosity about AI/ML technologies and how they integrate into web applications.

Education & Experience

● Experience with personal projects or coding exercises that showcase your interest in
development is a plus.
