Input: Process
Input: Process
Ans- A Computer is an electronic device which can process data into information. It is thus an electronic and
produces meaningful results. It helps to solve the problems.
(b) Monitor
(d) Mouse
Ans- Computer takes input from the user through the keyboard, process it inside the CPU and give the
desire Output to the Monitor.
Ans- INPUT- Input is the information that goes inside the computer or CPU ie. What we input is rough
information or the raw data. Information is typed or input by the user through the keyboard. Input is very
essential and basic stap of the computer operation.
PROCESS- This is done by the CPU. It is the second step of computer operation calculations are done by the
help of the CPU. But this is not what we are able to see.
OUTPUT- Output is the result of the input. It is shown on the screen of the computer called the monitor or
the Visual Display Unit (VDU) which is the meaningful information. It is thus the last step of the computer
operation.
Units of Memory:- units of memory is measured in Bytes,Kilobyts etc. The following table highlights the
relationship between them.
Q. Classification of Computer: -
Ans- Depending upon the capabilities and speed of processing computer can be classified as: -
(1) Digital Computer: - They are the computers that works on discrete data ie. Directly counting
numbers, letters, or symbols. These are commonly used for business applications.
(2) Analog Computer: - These are computers work on continuous data measured along a continuous
scale generally used in process like temperature, measurement, medical purpose etc.
(3) Hybrid Computer: - Desirable qualities of both Analog and Digital Computer are combined together
to form what are called Hybrid Computer. They can be used for both General and Special Purpose.
