INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this program is to provide the theoretical and practical content required for
the Preschool Assistant occupation, which will allow the worker to enter the productive field to
meet the needs of the market.

An occupational analysis of this occupation was developed, which serves as a basis for
developing the instructional program.

This program consists of four programmatic units with their respective objectives,
contents, resources and means for evaluation.

This course corresponds to the Basic Training level, Training mode, aimed at a population
of 18 years and older. It does not include the methodological strategies that allow the
instructor's initiative to be put into practice. Likewise, this program will serve as support in
educational practice together with the standard list and the manual.

PRESCHOOL ASSISTANT

The instructional program: Preschool Assistant is developed by request of


Mobile Units

For the development of this program, the occupational analysis was taken
as a basis: Preschool Assistant, which was developed in the present year (2001).

This program is made up of four programmatic units organized


pedagogically, according to the opinion of the content expert; the selected
resources were also suggested by the instructor.

The duration of this course is 400 hours, it corresponds to the basic


training level and the training mode, it is aimed at a population of 18 years and
older.

This program was developed according to the methodology established by


INCE, and was validated at the Paraíso Educational Unit, the Manuel Montaner
Educational Unit and the “Monseñor Lauregui” Foundation. This course is not
registered with the teacher because it is new.
