HOST: Good evening ladies and gentlemen, may we


have your attention please. We are about to begin
_____________ 18th birthday party celebration so
please find your seats or table and make yourselves
comfortable and enjoy the rest of the evening. By the
way I am Annabelle Lerio. I will be your host for this
very wonderful and blessed 18 years of existence of
the life of (NAME OF DEBUTANT).

Tonight is a celebration of adulthood and a thanksgiving


of the life God has given to our lovely celebrant. All of you
who are here tonight have watched her grow over the
years into the wonderful person she is now. As a
jumpstart, let us all acknowledge the ever supportive and
loving family of our debutant:

Grandparents:

HOST: Without them, her life would be empty and


unhappy. Let us all give a big round of applause to honor
all the people whom she truly loved. Ingon sila, daghan
tang makit-ang kapuso dinhi sa kalibutan, pero nag-
inusara ang matawag natong kapamilya. Right?

Some says, in life we can have several friends,


classmates, and social circles, but there is only one family
who is always willing and ready to welcome us no matter
what.

Ug dili na nato padugayon pa. Tonight calls for a grand


celebration and it is our distinct pleasure to introduce to
you for the very first time, the reason why we are all
gathered here tonight. Because tonight will be the most
magical night in her 18 years of existence.

Now ladies and gentlemen without further ado, let us all


rise and put our hands together, as we welcome the main
highlight of this celebration, and as she stepped into a
higher level of life, ladies and gentlemen, our lady of the
evening, our lovely debutant,(NAME OF THE DEBUTANT)

HOST: There she is ladies and gentlemen! Blooming


and lovely!

(ADLIBS)

Very pretty and stunning, indeed! Ladies and


gentlemen,(NAME OF THE DEBUTANT).

At this moment, before we formally start with the


celebration I'd like to request everybody to please stand
for the Lord's moment for His guidance and blessings to
be led by _________.

(PRAYER)

Everyone you may take your seats. At this point, to tell us


kung asa jud naliwat si Joyce, sa iya bang mother? Or sa
iya bang father? Or both? Char. Here's mother ________
to welcome all of us to their lovely daughter's 18th
birthday party. Please let us give her a round of applause!

(ADLIBS)

Thank you so much mother! Now let us all relax and let us
start the fun tonight! Now at this juncture, to represent
________ Circle of Important People of her Life, let us
welcome the following persons who will share their
wishes, messages, and o!er Candles of Enlightenment
which symbolizes friendship. Of course these people will
be the ones who will give her advices and kind words
along the way on how to become a perfect woman.

They then each light a candle that symbolizes light—light


that will guide ______ on her life journey. Every candle
symbolizes a year of her existence. Each one will be a
visible reminder of _______ triumph over challenges in
life... serves as eternal lamp that brings her optimistic
view of the world she's about to enter and a guiding light
that gives her a sense of direction. And now to give her
the first candle and message, may we call Ms. Shaina.

18 CANDLES

Thank you so much everyone for your moving, upli"ing


and heartwarming messages for our dear debutante. And
now moving on, we have now come to the part of our
program that the guys have been waiting for. A chance to
hold the hand of our lovely debutante for a short dance.

Okay so, a little trivia, the 18 roses symbolize _____ in her


18 years and the gentlemen symbolizes as her protectors,
knight in shining armor, guardian angel or what other
terms you may call. These gentlemen will protect
_________ from any harm or sadness. Each gentleman,
a"er giving ________ a rose will dance while we read
their message to Heart Joyce. Let us start with:

18 ROSES

There you go ladies and gentlemen! And to complete the


18 roses, the last dance is of course reserved for the very
special man in __________ life. Her motivator, supporter,
armor, and treasure. With him, she knows that she will be
safe, she will be happy. Ladies and gentlemen let us all
give a round of applause to the father, Mr. ________
together with our lovely debutante for their Father and
Daughter Dance!

(PICTURE TAKING)

Thank you so much __________. The father and daughter


dance is probably one of the most loved traditions in any
Filipino debut celebration. This signifies the daughter's
first step to womanhood and the father's acceptance of
this period in his daughter's life. As the debutante
receives her 18 roses let it be a reminder that like the rose
life is beautiful, however, there are thorns that signify that
life isn't that easy for there are problems to be faced. It is
up to her how she will handle these hurdles with the
support of her family and friends.

Indeed you are now a lady ________ you are in the legal
age so 18 toasts will be o!ered to congratulate the
debutante for reaching this milestone in her life. Every
toast means a warm wish for a promising future ahead.
It's a way of appreciating and honoring her humble
presence in the lives of those people who in any way
touched her heart and have been significant part of her
life.

Annabelle: Everyone hold your goblet and let us all greet


__________ a HAPPY BIRTHDAY as we toast.

(CHEERS)

Thank you everyone. You make take your seats.

So from the 18 candles to the 18 roses and 18 toasts, of


course, wishes and greetings from the debutante's family
and friends will be very important because as what Willa
Cather said, "Where there is great love, there are always
wishes."

Because birthdays are always new beginnings, new


endeavors with new set of goals, sending birthday
messages and wishes is a tradition especially in our
country, where we give high value to family ties and
relationship.

So tonight ladies and gentlemen we will be approaching


________ family and friends to give their wishes and
greetings as she reached the age of maturity.

(WISHES)

Wow what wonderful wishes we have heard. Evidently


our dear debutante was growing with a very lovely and
supportive people.

At this point, may we request everybody to please stand


and let us all sing our traditional Happy Birthday Song to
our lovely debutante.

(HAPPY BIRTDAY SONG)

Now make a wish and whenever you're ready, blow your


candle. Let us give 18 claps for __________... Thank you
very much.

How is everybody doing so far? Is everybody having a


good time? Is everyone also hungry?

There you go. Don't worry folks, we wouldn't be delaying


your delicious dinner any further. Bon appetite.

While some of you are still feasting on the delicious bu!et


and the sweet desserts, we will now continue with our
program. Everybody get ready to be entertained by a
number specially prepared for the debutante!

Let us all give a round of applause for a tribute to our dear


debutante!

Tonight's celebration tells us that the best demonstration


of gratitude in response to a wonderful experience like
this one can be contained in an overwhelming thank you.
And if there's one person here tonight who is more than
grateful to see all of you that would be our beloved
celebrant's father, Mr. _______. Let us all give him a round
applause for his acknowledgement.

The night is young, and so are we, diba? Are you ready to
party? We have just actually started. Again, thank you for
having me here to celebrate with all of you. Thank you so
